Das Produktionshaus KEY
TV liefert eigene TVProduktionen, von
Reportagen über
Industriefilme bis hin zu
TV-Features und
Werbeclips für den österreichischen ORF.
Zusammen mit dem
Systempartner LBelectronics wurden um
den zentralen Mischer
KM-5000 von JVC zwei
neue JVC DIGITAL S
MAZen (BR-D50E Player
und BR-D85E Rekorder)
und ein JVC Professional-S Schnittrecorder
BR-S822 angeordnet, um
die bereits vorhandenen
Beta SP-, MII-, U-Maticund Digital BetacamRekorder zu ergänzen.
So schuf man sich eine
komplette Formatpalette.
Für Helmut Harich, den
kaufmännischen
Geschäftsführer von KEY
TV, war die Umstellung
des Schnittplatzes auf
Digitaltechnik eine unternehmerische Notwendigkeit: “Nachdem mit
DIGITAL S von JVC nun
ein 4:2:2 Digital-Komponentenformat verfügbar
ist, welches ein
außergewöhnliches
Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
bietet und uns mit dem
JVC Digitalmischer eine
ideale Lösung für die
Gesamtkonzeption
angeboten wurde, war
es schlußendlich
möglich, ... die gesamte
Studioerneuerung und
Umstellung auf
Digitaltechnik zu
vollziehen.”
Nachdem sich Hannes
Albert, der technische
Geschäftsführer von KEY
TV, von der Qualität
überzeugt hatte, nahm
das Projekt rasch konkrete Formen an.
Eine Woche später war
man sich einig und die
Lieferung der JVCProdukte erfolgte
buchstäblich sofort.

Vienna based KEY TV can
boast success in a range of
independent TV productions,
from documentaries, industrial
marketing and training videos,
to TV feature films and commercials for Austrian Television
(ORF). Their choice for the
future : JVC’s DIGITAL S.
With the help of System House
LB-electronics, the production
company’s editing suite was
given a serious make-over:
Around a central JVC
KM-5000 mixer unit, two new
DIGITAL S-systems (BR-D50E
Player and BR-D85E Recorder)
and a Professional S BR-S822
editing recorder were set up.
This brought the desired 4:2:2format and quality, and provided complete back-up for the
BETA SP, MII, U-Matic and
Digital Betacam Recorders
already in use.
Helmut Harich, commercial
director of KEY TV, is enthusiastic: “Once a 4:2:2 digital
signal processing system
became available with JVC’s
extremely cost-effective
DIGITAL S range, this offered
the ideal solution for our
overall concept through its JVC
digital mixing process, and we
were finally able to implement
the modernization of our studios and convert completely to
digital technology.”
Technical director Hannes
Albert was also highly impressed with the DIGITAL S quality.
The decision was quickly taken
and a week later the new
equipment was in place. Both
directors agree: “Improvement
and guarantee of quality are
KEY TV’s main aim. JVC’s
DIGITAL S system has played a
crucial role in achieving just
that.”
KEY TV : une production 100 % numérique avec JVC
La société de production KEY TV fournit à l'ORF autrichienne ses propres productions télévisées allant des
reportages aux téléfilms et aux clips publicitaires en passant par les films industriels.
En coopération avec son partenaire système LB-electronics, deux nouveaux MAZ DIGITAL S JVC (lecteur
BR-D50E et enregistreur BR-D85E) et un enregistreur de montage Professional-S JVC BR-S822 ont été installés autour de la table de mixage centrale KM-5000 JVC pour compléter les enregistreurs Beta SP, MII, UMatic et Digital Betacam existants. Cette installation offre donc désormais une palette de formats complète.
Selon Helmut Harich, directeur commercial de KEY TV, la conversion du poste de montage au numérique
était devenue une nécessité : “Depuis que nous avons accès au format composant numérique 4:2:2 avec le
DIGITAL S de JVC, qui offre un rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel, nous disposons avec la table de mixage
numérique JVC d'une solution idéale pour la conception globale. Et nous avons enfin (...) pu procéder à la
rénovation complète du studio et au passage à la technique numérique.”
Dès que Hannes Albert, directeur technique de KEY TV, a été convaincu des qualités du système, le projet a
rapidement pris forme. Une semaine plus tard, nous passions un accord et la livraison des systèmes JVC fut
directement exécutée.

KEY TV: Produzione digitale al 100% con JVC
La casa di produzione KEY TV realizza produzioni televisive, reportage, documentari aziendali, film per la
TV e spot pubblicitari per l’emittente austriaca (ORF).
In collaborazione con la firma LB-electronics, é stato previsto introdurre due nuovi apparecchi JVC
DIGITAL S MAZ (lettore BR-D50 e registratore BR-D85) e il registratore per montaggio JVC Professional-S
BR-S822, al giá esistente mixer centrale JVC KM-5000, prestando cosi completo back-up ai registratori
Beta SP, MII, U-Matic e Digital Betacam, in uso, ottenendo in questo modo una gamma completa di formati.
Per Helmut Harich, direttore commerciale di KEY TV, il passaggio alla tecnica digitale è stato determinato
da un’esigenza aziendale: “Grazie al sistema di elaborazione a componenti 4:2:2, il formato DIGITAL S di
JVC garantisce uno straordinario rapporto prezzo/prestazioni e il mixer digitale JVC rappresenta una
soluzione produttiva ideale. Il passaggio al digitale ci ha consentito di mettere in atto un rinnovamento
completo dei nostri studi”.
Una volta convinto della qualità il direttore tecnico di KEY TV, Hannes Albert, il progetto è stato prontamente realizzato. Una settimana più tardi si è giunti all’accordo e la consegna dei prodotti JVC è avvenuta con
estrema rapidità. “La garanzia e il miglioramento della qualità sono gli obiettivi prioritari di KEY TV”,
affermano all’unisono Harich e Albert, “e il formato DIGITAL S di JVC costituisce in tal senso un elemento
decisivo.”
KEY TV: 100% de producción digital con JVC
La Empresa productora KEY TV distribuye producciones propias de televisión, desde reportajes hasta películas, pasando por telefilmes y clips de publicidad, para la cadena austríaca de televisión (ORF).
Junto con la casa de sistemas LB-electronics, se han instalado al mezclador central KM-5000 de JVC, dos
nuevos dispositivos DIGITAL S MAZ de JVC (el reproductor BR-D50E - el grabador BR-D85E) y un grabador de corte BR-S822 Professional-S de JVC, prestando soporte a los equipos Beta SP, MII, U matic y
Digital Betacam ya existentes, para ofrecer de esta manera una gama completa de formatos.
Para Helmut Harich, director comercial de KEY TV, la conversión del lugar de corte a técnica digital era
una necesidad empresarial: “Después de que con DIGITAL S de JVC dispusiéramos de un formato digital
de componente 4:2:2, con una extraordinaria relación precio/rendimiento y el mezclador digital JVC,
una solución ideal para el concepto total, fué posible por fin realizar toda la renovación del estudio y la
conversión a la tecnología digital”.
Una vez que Hannes Albert, director técnico de KEY TV, se convenció de la calidad, el proyecto fue tomando forma rápidamente. Una semana más tarde se había alcanzado el acuerdo y se comenzó de inmediato
la distribución de los productos JVC.
“Garantía y aumento en la calidad de servicio son los objetivos prioritarios de KEY TV” declaran al unísono Harich y Albert “y DIGITAL S de JVC ha sido un elemento crucial, en nuestro deseo de mantener esta
filosofía.”
