WAPELLA MANNVILLE SAND POOL — REDUCED SPACING
The Department of Energy and Mines has received an application
from Talisman Energy Inc. requesting approval to produce four wells
in each legal subdivision for the Mannville Sand underlying portions
of Sections 28 and 33-14-1 W2M and Section 4-15-1 W2M. Talisman
has also requested that each well produce according to good production
practice. As a result of the application, the Department is proposing
that the Wapella Upper Mannville Sand Pool, which allows two wells
in each legal subdivision, be expanded to include the north half of
Section 26, the north half of Section 27, Sections 28 to 34-14-1 W2M,
Sections 2 to 4, the south half of Section 10, the south half and
north-east quarter of Section 11 and the west half of Section 12-15-1
W2M. The setback requirements will remain unchanged.
Objections to the application, complete with supporting
technical data, received in writing by the Department on or before
September 26, 1997, will be considered. A copy of the objection must
be provided to the applicant.
Copies of the application may be obtained from Mr. Daniel Regier,
Talisman Energy Inc., 2400, 855-2nd St. S.W., Calgary, AB T2P 4J9.
Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, August 26, 1997.
