Herkunft: Der Name Kiwi leitet sich von dem Namen des neuseeländischen Laufvogels Kiwi ab. Die
Kiwi stammt ursprünglich aus den bewaldeten Schluchten Zentralchinas, wo sie auch heute noch an
den Waldrändern des Yangtse-Tales wild wächst. Sie wird heute weltweit angebaut. Hauptanbaulaender sind China, Neuseeland, Südafrika, Kenia, Japan, USA (Kalifornien), Brasilien, Südeuropa
(Griechenland, Italien, Südfrankreich, Spanien) und Israel.1
Origin: The name KIWI comes from the name of the New Zealand running bird KIWI. The KIWI is native in
the wooded canyons of central China, where it still grows wild in the woods of the Yangtse Valley today. It is
cultivated worldwide today. Main producing countries are China, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Japan,
USA (California), Brazil, southern Europe (Greece, Italy, France, Spain) and Israel. 1
Beschreibung der Pflanze: Die Kiwipflanze ist ein laubabwerfender Kletterstrauch, der meterlange Triebe mit
weißen bis rosafarbenen Blüten bildet. Sie gehört zur
Familie der Actinidiaceae (Strahlengriffelgewächse,
Schlinggewächse) gehört und in unterschiedlichen Varianten vorkommt. Die bekanntesten Varianten sind Actinidia deliciosa (kurzborstige, behaarte Früchte) und Actinidia chinensis (glatte Früchte), die i. d. R. im Einzelhandel anzutreffen sind. Weitere Varianten sind Actinidia arguta und Actinidia kolomikta, die zwar winterfest
sind, aber dennoch keinen Spätfrost vertragen. Im Vergleich zu den ersteren sind sie nur etwa so groß wie eine
Stachelbeere, haben eine glatte Schale und schmecken
viel aromatischer bei gleichem Ascorbinsäuregehalt. Eine
weitere Sorte, die insbesondere in Japan als Medizinalpflanze genutzt wird ist die Actinidia polygama. Ein Kiwistrauch kann einige hundert Früchte tragen. Die Actinidia chinensis und die Actinidia deliciosa sind eigross
mit einem Durchmesser bis zu 5 cm und einem Gewicht
von 60 bis 100 G. Die ungenießbare Haut ist zunächst
grün und wird während des Reifeprozesses braun. Das
saftige Fruchtfleisch ist smaragdgrün und schmeckt je

Description of the plant: The kiwi is a deciduous climbing shrub plant, which forms meter long shoots with
white to pink flowers. It belongs to the family of Actinidiaceae (actinidiaceae, Schling family) heard and present
in different versions. The most common variants are Actinidia deliciosa (short bristly, hairy fruit) and Actinidia
chinensis (smooth fruits), which are usually to be found in retail stores. Other variants are Actinidia arguta and
Actinidia Kolomikta that are winterized, but nevertheless do not tolerate late frosts. Compared to the former,
they are only about the size of a gooseberry; have a smooth skin and taste more aromatic by the same ascorbic acid content. Another variety that is particularly used in Japan as a medicinal plant is the Actinidia polygama. A
kiwi can carry several hundred fruits. The Actinidia chinensis and Actinidia deliciosa are egg large with a diameter up to 5 cm and a weight of 60 to 100G. The inedible skin is green for and during ripening brown. The juicy
pulp is emerald green and tastes depending on ripeness sour to sweet.
The kiwi fruit contains a variety of small, black seeds, which remain after the juicing of fruit and serve as raw
material for oil extraction.
Ölgewinnung: Das Kiwiöl wird mit Hilfe verschiedener Verfahren aus den schwarzen Kernen der
Kiwifrucht gewonnen.
Das gängigste Verfahren ist die CO2 Extraktion.3 Die CO2 Extraktion führt zu einer höheren Ausbeute
bei höheren Produktionskosten. Das Öl ist dann klar, goldgelb, aromatischer und enthält hohe ätherische Bestandteile, Wachse, praktisch alle CO2 löslichen Bestandteile der Pflanze.
Wir verwenden die Kaltpressung zur Herstellung des Kiwisamenöls. Die Ausbeute ist wesentlich geringer, als bei der CO2 Extraktion, bei einem Bruchteil der Produktionskosten. Das Öl ist dann gelbgrün, nicht so aromatisch und oxidationsinstabiler als bei der CO2 Extraktion, denn es enthält lediglich Fettsäuren, kaum ätherische Bestandteile und keine anderen Stoffe. Daher handelt es sich um ein
sehr seltenes und kostbares Öl.
Extraction of the oil: The Kiwi seed oil is obtained by various methods from the black seeds of kiwi fruit.
The most common method is the CO2 extraction.3 The CO2 extraction results in a higher yield with higher production costs. The oil is then clear, golden yellow, aromatic and contains high ethereal components, waxes, all
CO2-soluble components of the plant.

1829/2003 und VO (EG) 1830/2003. Zur Herstellung wurden weder bestrahlte Rohstoffe eingesetzt
noch wurde das Produkt selbst bestrahlt. Das Produkt ist rein pflanzlichen Ursprungs und kommt
während seiner Herstellung, Lagerung und seines Transports mit keinerlei tierischen Materialien in
Berührung. Die Angaben in dieser Spezifikation haben rein informativen Charakter und werden unter
Ausschluss jeglicher Gewährleistung gemacht, insbes. bezüglich der Verletzung von Eigentumsrechten dritter Seite durch die Verwendung des Produkts. Sie sind nicht verbindlich und beinhalten auch
keine Eigenschaftszusicherung. Sie stammen aus der Fachliteratur, aus den Spezifikationen von Lieferanten sowie aus Analysezertifikaten und sind nach unserem Wissen das Ergebnis von Beobachtungen
