Dear Members of EMYC,
Liebe Mitglieder des EMYC,
we are glad to be hosting the Council Meeting 2011
and we enjoy to make preparations for your arrival.
Our Council Meeting will take place in the Pallottihaus, a venue slightly outside of the main Vienna
rush, in a green environment, but at the same time
in the middle of Austria’s truly beautiful capital
city.

zu sein und genießen es, Vorbereitungen für eure
Ankunft zu treffen. Unsere Ratstagung wird im
Pallottihaus stattfinden, einer Unterkunft die leicht
abgeschottet im Grünen aber gleichzeitig mitten in
Österreichs wunderschöner Hauptstadt Wien liegt.
We are of course not only looking forward to the
Council Meeting and the work that goes with it, but
we are anticipating opportunities to worship and
celebrate our God together. We will be able to use
the venue’s church for this.
Wir freuen uns aber nicht nur auf die Ratstagung
und die gute Arbeit die wir leisten können, sondern
auch auf die Gelegenheiten mit euch gemeinsam
unseren Gott anzubeten und zu feiern. Dafür
werden wir auch die hauseigene Kirche nutzen
dürfen.

Arrival Dates and first sessions
Beginn und Ende der Ratstagung
Delegates of the Central Conference of Central and
Southern Europe should use Thursday, September 22
2011 as arrival day.
Für Delegierte der Zentralkonferenz MSE ist
Anreisetag Donnerstag, der 22.9.2011.
For all other delegates, the Council Meeting will
start on Friday, September 23 2011, at 5 pm.
Für alle anderen Delegierten gilt der offizielle
Beginn mit dem Eröffnugsgottesdienst am Freitag,
23.9.2011, um 17.00. (?)
The Council Meeting ends Monday, September 26th,
with breakfast.
Die Ratstagung endet am Montag, den 26.9.2011,
mit dem Frühstück.
Should delegates wish to arrive earlier or leave
later, they should try to arrange the details with the
pallottihaus (see link above).
Sollten Delegierte früher an- oder später abreisen
wollen, müssen sie das selbstständig mit dem
Pallottihaus ausmachen. (Siehe Link oben).
Travel to Vienna
Reise nach Wien
Seeing as Vienna is the heart of Europe, many delegates will be able to travel by train (trainstations
Wien-Westbahnhof and Wien-Meidling). Those who
have to fly should try to fly into Bratislava Airport
or Wien-Schwechat.
Da Wien mitten im Herzen Europas liegt, werden
viele Delegierte per Zug anreisen können (Bahnhöfe
Wien-West und Wien-Meidling). Denjenigen, die
fliegen müssen, empfehlen wir es auch Flüge nach
Bratislava in Betracht zu ziehen (Bratislava liegt nur
etwa 50 km von Wien entfernt).
Cheap airlines serving these airports are for example ryanair and airberlin.

Illness and Insurance
Krankheit und Versicherung
All delegates from EU countries should bring their
E111-card (international health insurance card) with
them. You should also consider travel health insurance.
Alle Delegierten aus EU-Ländern sollten ihre E111Karte (internationale Krankenkassenkarte)
mitbringen. Ihr solltet zudem überlegen, ob ihr eine
Reiseversicherung abschließt.
Travel Cost Reimbursement
Reisekostenerstattung
Travel costs shall be paid by the EMYC treasurer as
follows:

Travel under 800 km from your home to the
BBZ (Stuttgart) 2nd class train tickets or airplane tickets costing less will be reimbursed.
!
Travel over 800 km from your home to the
BBZ 1st class tickets or airplane tickets
costing less will be reimbursed.
!
It is compulsory that you offset your carbon
emission. You can do this e.g. via
www.atmosfair.org. Costs for the offset will
also be reimbursed together with your
airfare.
!
Automobiles should only be used when other
transportation methods are not available!
Here for automobiles with three or more
occupants 0,30 !/km will be reimbursed.
Automobiles with two passengers or with
materials for the council meeting receive
0,20 !/km and those traveling alone receive
0,16 !/km.
Die Reisekosten werden von der Schatzmeisterin des
EMYC wie folgt erstattet:

Es ist auf jeden Fall eine Kompensierung der
Kohlendioxidemissionen vorzunehmen. Die

zusammen mit dem Flugpreis erstattet.

Das Auto soll nur benutzt werden, wenn kein
anderes Verkehrsmittel zur Verfügung steht!

English about their country, which can be viewed
via notebook without further explanation.

All country reports should refer to the following
questions:
- What is the size of your church in the country?
- How many children and youth are being reached?
- How is your work organized?
- How does your church function and organize itself?
