1. Allgemein
1.1 Verwendung:
Das Einbringen schädlicher Stoffe in Entwässerungsanlagen, die Baustoffe von Entwässerungsgegenständen angreifen oder
den Betrieb stören, muß durch besondere
Einrichtungen verhindert werden. Bei der
Abführung sinkstoffhaltigen Abwassers in
die Entwässerungsanlage sind Sand- und
Schlammfänge vorgesehen.
Eine nicht alltägliche Anwendung dieser
Bestimmungen in DIN 1986, Teil 3, „Unzulässige Benutzung durch erhärtende Stoffe“, betrifft unter anderem die Verwendung
von Gips im zahnärztlichen, chirurgischen
und orthopädischen Behandlungsbereich
von Krankenhäusern, Ton im schulischen
Werkunterricht, etc.
1.2 Bemessung:
Die Größe der Sinkstoffabscheider ist nach
Volumen und Art (z.B. Gips, Kalk, Kunst-
harz, Glas) des abzuleitenden Schmutzwassers zu bemessen. Dabei sind folgende
Kriterien zu berücksichtigen
- Schmutzwasserabfluß
- Dichte der Schwerstoffe
- Menge der abzuscheidenden Schwerstoffe
Danach kann aufgrund von Erfahrungswerten folgender Schmutzwasserabfluß mit
der Nenngröße gleichgesetzt werden:
0,5 l/s Durchfluß = NS 1
1,0 l/s Durchfluß = NS 2
1.3 Anlagenbeschreibung:
Die KESSEL-Sinkstoffabscheider NS 1 und
2 werden aus PE-HD hergestellt und sind
deshalb absolut korrosionsfrei. Sie zeichnen sich durch ihre kompakte Bauweise
aus und können unmittelbar an der Anfallstelle der Sinkstoffe aufgestellt werden.
Die Anlagen werden komplett montiert
ausgeliefert und sind sofort betriebsbereit.
Die Auffangbehälter können zur Entsor-

gung und Reinigung einfach und problemlos aus dem Abscheider herausgenommen
werden.
Der Zu- und Ablauf der KESSEL-Sinkstoffabscheider ist jeweils für den Anschluß von
SML-Rohren nach DIN 19522 ausgelegt.
1.4 Entsorgung:
Die erste Entsorgung ist innerhalb von 2-3
Wochen ab Inbetriebnahme durchzuführen.
Entsorgungsintervalle: Die Entsorgung ist
spätestens dann durchzuführen, wenn die
Auffangbehälter zur Hälfte gefüllt sind.
Bitte überprüfen Sie regelmäßig den Füllstand dieser Auffangbehälter, um eine einwandfreie Abscheidewirkung zu gewährleisten.
Nach jeder Entsorgung sind die Anlagen
und die Auffangbehälter wieder bis zum
Überlauf mit Wasser zu füllen.

3. Gewährleistung
1. Ist eine Lieferung oder Leistung mangelhaft,
so hat KESSEL nach Ihrer Wahl den Mangel
durch Nachbesserung zu beseitigen oder eine
mangelfreie Sache zu liefern. Schlägt die
Nachbesserung zweimal fehl oder ist sie wirtschaftlich nicht vertretbar, so hat der Käufer/Auftraggeber das Recht, vom Vertrag
zurückzutreten oder seine Zahlungspflicht
entsprechend zu mindern. Die Feststellung
von offensichtlichen Mängeln muss unverzüglich, bei nicht erkennbaren oder verdeckten Mängeln unverzüglich nach ihrer Erkennbarkeit schriftlich mitgeteilt werden. Für
Nachbesserungen und Nachlieferungen haftet KESSEL in gleichem Umfang wie für den
ursprünglichen Vertragsgegenstand. Für
Neulieferungen beginnt die Gewährleis-
tungsfrist neu zu laufen, jedoch nur im Umfang der Neulieferung.
Es wird nur für neu hergestellte Sachen eine
Gewährleistung übernommen.
Die Gewährleistungsfrist beträgt 24 Monate
ab Auslieferung an unseren Vertragspartner.
§ 377 HGB findet weiterhin Anwendung.
Über die gesetzliche Regelung hinaus erhöht
die KESSEL AG die Gewährleistungsfrist für
Leichtflüssigkeitsabscheider, Fettabscheider,
Schächte, Kleinkläranlagen und Regenwasserzisternen auf 20 Jahre bezüglich Behälter.
Dies bezieht sich auf die Dichtheit, Gebrauchstauglichkeit und statische Sicherheit.
Voraussetzung hierfür ist eine fachmännische
Montage sowie ein bestimmungsgemäßer

Betrieb entsprechend den aktuell gültigen
Einbau- und Bedienungsanleitungen und den
gültigen Normen.
2. KESSEL stellt ausdrücklich klar, dass Verschleiß kein Mangel ist. Gleiches gilt für
Fehler, die aufgrund mangelhafter Wartung
auftreten.
Hinweis: Das Öffnen von versiegelten Komponenten oder Verschraubungen darf nur
durch den Hersteller erfolgen. Andernfalls
können Gewährleistungsansprüche ausgeschlossen sein.

1. General
1.1 Use
Special equipment must be used to prevent
harmful substances which corrode the materials used for draining elements or disturb
operation from entering the draining system
in the first place. Sand and sludge traps are
used where wastewater containing sediment is discharged into the draining system.
One quite unusual application of the provisions in DIN 1986, Part 3, “Impermissible
use by setting substances” concerns the
use of plaster in the dental, surgical and orthopedic treatment areas of hospitals, clay
in school handicrafts lessons etc.
1.2 Dimensioning
The size of the sediment separator must be
dimensioned according to the volume and
type (e.g. plaster, scale, synthetic resin,
glass) of the washwater to be discharged.
The following criteria must be taken into
account
- Washwater drain
- Density of the heavy materials
- Quantity of heavy materials to be
discharged
Accordingly, empirical values allow washwater flows to be matched to the nominal
sizes as follows:
0.5 l/s flow = NS 1
1.0 l/s flow = NS 2
1.3 System description
The KESSEL sediment separators NS 1
and 2 are made of PE-HD and are thus absolutely corrosion-free. They stand out on
account of their compact design and can be
set up directly where the sediment occurs.
The systems are delivered completely assembled and are immediately ready for immediate operation. The collecting tanks can
easily be removed from the separator for
disposal of the contents and cleaning.

The inlet and outlet of the KESSEL sediment separators has been designed for
connection of SML pipes according to DIN
19522
1.4 Disposal
The first disposal must be carried out within
2-3 weeks of initial operation.
Disposal intervals: Disposal must be carried out when the collecting tanks are half
full at the latest.
Please check the filling level of these collecting tanks at regular intervals to guarantee
perfect separating efficiency.
The systems and collecting tanks must be
filled with water up to the overflow after
every disposal process.

3. Warranty
1. In the case that a KESSEL product is defective, KESSEL has the option of repairing
or replacing the product. If the product remains defective after the second attempt to
repair or replace the product or it is economically unfeasible to repair or replace the
product, the customer has the right to cancel the order / contract or reduce payment
accordingly. KESSEL must be notified immediately in writing of defects in a product.
In the case that the defect is not visible or
difficult to detect, KESSEL must be notified
immediately in writing of the defect as soon
as it is discovered. If the product is repaired
or replaced, the newly repaired or replaced
product shall receive a new warranty identical to that which the original (defective)
product was granted. The term defective
product refers only to the product or part
needing repair or replacement and not necessarily to the entire product or unit. KES-
SEL products are warranted for a period of
24 month. This warranty period begins on
the day the product is shipped form KESSEL to its customer. The warranty only applies to newly manufactured products. Additional information can be found in section
377 of the HGB.
In addition to the standard warranty, KESSEL offers an additional 20 year warranty on
the polymer bodies of class I / II fuel separators, grease separators, inspection chambers, wastewater treatment systems and
rainwater storage tanks. This additional
warranty applies to the watertightness, usability and structural soundness of the product.
A requirement of this additional warranty is
that the product is properly installed and
operated in accordance with the valid installation and user's manual as well as the
corresponding norms / regulations.

2. Wear and tear on a product will not be considered a defect. Problems with products
resulting from improper installation, handling or maintenance will also be considered
a defect.
Note: Only the manufacturer may open sealed components or screw connections.

1. Généralités
1.1 Domaine d’emploi
La pénétration de matières nocives à
l'intérieur de systèmes d'assainissement qui
attaquent les matériaux de construction ou
nuisent à leur fonctionnement doit être
empêchée par des installations particulières.
En cas d’apport d'eaux usées contenant des
matières lourdes, dans les systèmes d'assainissement, il faut prévoir l'utilisation de séparateurs de boue et de sable.
Une utilisation non quotidienne des prescriptions de la DIN 1986, partie 3, „Utilisation non
autorisée de matières durcissantes“, concerne
entre autres l'emploi de plâtre dans les domaines de la dentisterie et du traitement chirurgical et orthopédique au sein des hôpitaux,
de l'argile lors de cours pratiques scolaires,
etc.
1.2 Dimensions
La taille des séparateurs de matières lourdes
dépend du volume et de la nature (par exemple du plâtre, de la chaux, de la résine synthétique, du verre) de l'eau usée à traiter. De
plus, les critères suivants doivent être pris en
considération
- Ecoulement d'eau usée
- Densité des matières lourdes
- Quantité de matières lourdes à séparer
En outre, en se basant sur les valeurs empiriques, l'écoulement d'eau usée suivant peut
être assimilé à une grandeur nominale :
Débit 0,5 l/s = NS 1
Débit 1,0 l/s = NS 2
1.3 Description de l'installation
Les séparateurs de matières lourdes KESSEL
NS 1 et 2 sont fabriqués en PE-HD et sont
ainsi à l'abri de toute corrosion. Ils se caractérisent par leur structure de construction compacte et peuvent être mis en place directement sur le lieu d'attaque des matières lourdes.
Les installations sont livrées entièrement
montées et sont immédiatement prêtes à fonctionner. Les conteneurs de déchets peuvent
être retirés facilement et sans problèmes du
séparateur pour procéder à l'élimination des
déchets et au nettoyage.
L'arrivée et le départ des matières lourdes

dans les séparateurs KESSEL sont conçues à
chaque fois pour un raccordement par des
tuyaux SML conformes à la DIN 19522.
1.4 Elimination des déchets
La première élimination des déchets doit être
exécutée dans les 2-3 semaines à partir de la
mise en service.
Intervalles d'élimination des déchets : l'élimination des déchets doit être exécutée au plus
tard, quand les conteneurs de récupération
sont à moitié remplis.
Veuillez contrôler régulièrement l'état de remplissage des conteneurs de récupération afin
d'obtenir une action de séparation irréprochable.
Après chaque élimination des déchets, les installations et les conteneurs de récupération
doivent être remplis à nouveau jusqu'au tropplein de l'eau.

3. Garantie
1. Si une livraison ou une prestation est défectueuse, KESSEL s’engage, selon votre choix,
à éliminer, par réparation, le manque constaté
ou à livrer un article sans défaut. Si la réparation échoue par deux fois ou si elle n’est pas
rentable financièrement, l'acheteur / le client
a le droit de résilier le contrat ou de diminuer
en conséquence le paiement dû. La constatation de manques évidents doit faire l’objet
d’un compte-rendu immédiat; en cas de manques non reconnaissables ou cachés, ce
compte-rendu écrit sera envoyé dès que ces
manques auront été constatés. KESSEL est
responsable des réparations et livraisons postérieures dans les mêmes conditions que
celles de l'objet du contrat originel. En cas de
nouvelles livraisons, le délai de garantie reprend, mais seulement en ce qui concerne le
volume d'une nouvelle livraison.
Une garantie ne peut être transmise qu’aux
objets nouvellement fabriqués. La durée de
garantie est de 24 mois après livraison par
notre revendeur.
En se basant sur la réglementation légale,
KESSEL AG augmente et accorde un délai de
garantie de 20 ans s’appliquant au cuve décanteur, séparateur, les puits, les micros stations d'épuration et les citernes d'eau de
pluie. Ceci concerne l'étanchéité, l’aptitude à
l'emploi et la sécurité statique. Il faut, pour
cela que le montage ait été effectué selon les
règles de l´art par une entreprise professionnelle et que l’exploitation se déroule conformément aux directives de montage et de
service ainsi qu’aux normes actuellement en
vigueur.
2. KESSEL rappelle que l'usure n'est pas un
défaut pris en compte par la garantie. Il en est

de même pour les défauts dus à une maintenance défectueuse.
Note: L'ouverture des composants scellés ou
des éléments vissés ne peut être exécutée
que par le fabricant. Dans le cas contraire, les droits à garantie peuvent être
exclus. "
