sciences en général? Probablement, enfin le mouvement
est bien avancé : quel est le pourcentage de découvertes,
ou d'informations de première main dont la publication
originale est d'abord faite en français ?

Groupe de travail Santé, Comptes rendus Mars 2007:
PROJET DE CONVENTION NATIONALE
Les membres du groupe de travail Santé et les
représentants de l'ANEMF réaffirment ... qu'il est
impératif d'enseigner l'anglais médical dans la totalité
des facultés de médecine françaises. En conséquence
de quoi, ils demandent à ce que l'arrêté du 18 mars
1992, Art. 18 ... soit scrupuleusement respecté.

Journées d’Eté de l’ANEMF
Une autre source de désintérêt des étudiants est la
forme de l’enseignement.
La conséquence de ce constat malheureux est la
démotivation des étudiants. La concordance de ces
facteurs fait que l’apprentissage de l’anglais médical
par les étudiants n’est pas efficient.

What is the ‘lexical approach’?

developing learners' proficiency with lexis, i.e.
words and word combinations
1. Lexis is the basis of language and of language
acquisition. Language is NOT lexicalized
grammar but grammaticalized lexis.
2. An important part of language acquisition is
the ability to comprehend and produce lexical
phrases as unanalyzed wholes, or "chunks."
3. Therefore lexis must be at the heart of any
meaning-centered language learning syllabus
