In this class we’ll continue the program to cover everyday French themes. We
will listen to stories and songs in French, do playful activities in order to
memorize new vocabulary. In addition to all these listening and speaking
activities, we will also aim at acquiring knowledge in writing and reading French
as they are the 4 skills evaluated in the DELF.
This session, our topic is “My house”
Vocabulary :
 rooms of the house (chambre, cuisine, salon, salle de bain, garage, …)
 furniture of your room (chaise, table, lit, armoire, lampe, ordinateur, …)
Communication :

describe your house

describe your room

use prepositions of localisation to situate things (sous, sur, dans, entre,
près de, à coté de, …)
Project :
We will make a plan of our ideal house
Toward DELF (Diploma in French language):
The DELF Prim is a diploma aimed at children from 8 to 11 years old who are
beginners in French. It is internationally recognised and valid for life. In order
to acquire the needed skills for this diploma, we will save some time in each class
to revisit previous topics in different context like family, animals, clothes, food,
sports and activities, the body parts, calendar, weather, transportations, city
and shops, …
