44th INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF INVENTIONS OF GENEVA:
SATISFACTION AND A POPULAR SUCCESS
The 44th edition of the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva closed its doors
today: exhibitors and organizers were satisfied. 57’612 visitors, almost the same number
as last year, walked through Hall 7 in Palexpo during these five days. Exhibitors are
smiling because of the contacts they made and the business they were able to negotiate.
With 695 participants from 40 countries and around 1’000 inventions, the International
Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva has confirmed its position as the world’s most
important specialized meeting place. Many exhibitors have done good business during the
show. It attracts investors and companies from throughout the world. It is famous for its
seriousness and professionalism and this year, the exhibition was host to a large number
of inventions in the fields of health and medicine, the environment and security.
Mr. Jean-Luc Vincent, Founding-President of the exhibition declared that «the everincreasing number of participants from universities or other State organisms once more
proves the universality and the quality of our Exhibition. It is a not-to-be-missed meeting
point in the world of invention. The general level of inventions presented is higher every
year».
The next edition is to take place from the 5th to the 9th April 2017.
