Various grants and funding sources
There are a number of grants and funding initiatives which can aid development
at various stages in a company’s life. These initiatives can be specific or across a
certain sector. There are certain criteria and regulations to be met concerning
applications. Some grants are relative to particular areas while others may be
given to companies which have responded to a call for projects.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of some of the grants available, which highlights
the need for appropriate advice in this area.

The Orne’s Business Angels

Capital injections of between 3,000 and
50,000 euros for new companies, or
those developing a new programme
or project. The Orne network is part of
Norm’Angels, which covers the three
departments of Lower Normandy.
Orne Initiatives
Orne Initiatives offers an unsecured,
interest-free loan. It is awarded by
a committee up to a maximum of
15,000 euros, and can be topped-up if
necessary by a departmental loan.
