The quickest way to place an order is to give us a phone
call. The speed of our service team is unbeatable. Within
ten seconds, your call will be answered by a member of
our team. And in just one minute, we will have started
to process your order. If a product is no longer available,
our team of professionals will advise you directly on
alternatives.
Complaints – because sometimes, they do
Many complaints can be resolved quickly and without the
eyewear having to be returned, if you phone us to begin
with. If it is necessary to return a product, please send
the goods together with an explanation of the reason for
the complaint. If you enclose a proof of purchase, this will
make it easier for us to process the complaint.
Eyewear repairs - solutions for every model
Repairs are sometimes simpler than they may first appear,
and if you phone us up to begin with, we can often resolve
many issues. We can then ensure that everything runs
smoothly: in the event of a claim within the warranty
period, we will replace the defective component free of
charge. If the required component is no longer available,
we will endeavour to find an alternative model.
Returns - making sure they arrive safely

des articles, veuillez indiquer le motif de la réclamation et

Les réparations sont parfois plus faciles qu‘il n‘y paraît et un
simple coup de fil peut déjà résoudre bien des choses. Nos
procédures permettent un déroulement sans encombre
des réparations : en cas de dommage survenant durant
la période sous garantie, nous remplaçons gratuitement
la pièce défectueuse. Si une pièce détachée n‘est plus
disponible, nous vous proposons dans la mesure du
possible un modèle de remplacement.
Retours – afin que tout arrive à bon port
Merci de ne jamais nous retourner les articles en port
dû. Ces envois sont surtaxés et nous ne pouvons les
accepter. De même, nous vous prions de ne pas nous
retourner d‘articles exempts de défauts sans nous avoir
préalablement contactés. Si vous avez des questions, votre

Even when flexed, the colour finish on
our TITANflex ® bridges and temples
remains highly adhesive because of
the use of thin, highly flexible layers of
lacquer. Particularly with TITANflex ®
frames, the normal act of pressing out
the demo lenses causes the lacquer
coating to be damaged or to peel off.
This can be prevented by opening
the clamp before removing the demo
lenses.

TITANflex ® ist eigentlich eine ganz normale
Brillenfassung. Eigentlich, wenn da nicht das
gewisse Etwas wäre: der Werkstoff, aus dem
die Fassung hergestellt ist! Eine super-elastische Titanlegierung, das Material der Zukunft. TITANflex ® ist über 10 mal mehr elastisch
als herkömmlicher Federstahl! Diese Superelastizität wird durch einen Effekt bewirkt, den
die Wissenschaftler Phasenumwandlung nennen. Solche Umwandlungen sind temperaturabhängig. Wir haben das Material so behandelt,
dass die optimale Elastizität bei Temperaturen
zwischen -10 °C und +40 °C auftritt. In diesem
Bereich kommt die Brillenfassung auch nach
extremer Verformung wieder in ihre ursprüngliche Form zurück. Und das nicht nur einmal,
sondern immer wieder. Deshalb passt sie auch
immer wie angegossen. Die untenstehende Abbildung vergleicht schematisch das Biegevermögen von TITANflex ® mit z. B. Edelstahl.

TITANflex ® is over ten times more elastic than
conventional spring steel. This superelasticity is
achieved by utilising an effect which scientists
call phase transition. Such transitions take place at particular temperatures. We have treated
the material in such a way as to gain optimum
elasticity at temperatures of between -10° and
+40° Celsius. In this temperature range, the
frame reverts to its original shape even after
extreme distortion. Not just once but always.
That’s why it always fits.The adjacent illustration shows a schematic comparison of the pliability of TITANflex ® , on the one hand, and stainless
steel, on the other.
TITANflex ® est en fait une monture de l u nettes tout à fait normale. En fait, s’il n’y avait
pas ce petit quelque chose: le matériau à partir
duquel est fabriquée la monture! Un alliage de
titan hyperélastique, le matériau de l’avenir.
TITANflex ® est 10 fois plus élastique que l’acier
à ressorts traditionnel. Cette hyper-élasticité
est obtenue par un effet que les scientifiques
appellent transition de phase. De telles transitions sont fonction de la température. Nous
avons traité le matériau de manière à obtenir
l’élasticité maximale à des températures situées
entre -10 °C et + 40°C. Dans cette plage, la
monture de lunettes retrouve sa forme initiale,
même après une déformation extrême. Et ce,
pas seulement une fois, mais chaque fois. C’est
aussi pourquoi elle sied toujours. Comme faisant corps. L’illustration cicontre compare sous
forme de schéma les caractéristiques de pliage.

muy especial: el material del que está compuesto. Una aleación de titanio de gran elasticidad, el
material del futuro. Y es que, ¡TITANflex ® tiene
una elasticidad 10 veces superior a la del acero!
Esta gran elasticidad se consigue mediante un
efecto que los científicos denominan “transformación de fases”. Estas transformaciones dependen de la temperatura. Por eso, hemos trabajado el material de tal forma que se consigue la
elasticidad óptima entre los -10 °C y los +40°C.
En este campo, la montura vuelve a su forma
original incluso tras sufrir una deformación extrema. Y no sólo una vez, sino en todo momento,
por lo que siempre se adaptará como un guante.

Diese spezielle Titanlegierung wird im allgemeinen im Hochvakuum durch Elektrostrahlen
geschmolzen. Dieser Vorgang wird Vakuum-Induktionsschmelze genannt. Im Rahmen konventioneller Warm- und Kaltumformung entsteht
aus dem Gussblock in der Weiterverarbeitung
bevorzugt Draht, aber auch Bleche und Rohre.
Um die maximale superelastische Dehnung in
dem von uns gewünschten Temperaturbereich
zu erzielen, wird das Material einer streng kontrollierten thermo-mechanischen Behandlung
unterzogen.
This special titanium alloy is produced by means
of a melting process – generally in an extreme
vacuum by means of electron rays, vacuum
arc or vacuum induction. Conventional heat
and cold transformation results in wire and
also sheets or pips of the moulded blocks. The
material undergoes strictly controlled thermo-mechanical treatment to gain superelastic
pliability
Cet alliage de titan spécial est élaboré. Coulé en
général dans un vide élevé par jet électronique,
arc sous vide ou induction sous vide. Le formage
conventionnel à chaud et à froid permet d’obtenir dans le traitement ultérieur, à partir du lingot, du fil de préférence, mais aussi des tôles et
des tubes. Pour obtenir l’extension hyper-élastique maximale dans la plage de température
préconisée, le matériau est soumis à un traitement thermo-mécanique strictement contrôlé.

se funde al vacío con rayos electrónicos. Este
procedimiento se llama “fusión por inducción
al vacío”. En el marco de la conformación en
frío y caliente convencionales, normalmente se
fabrican alambre del bloque de fundición, aunque también se producen chapas y tubos. Para
conseguir el objetivo de la máxima flexibildad
posible a nuestra temperatura deseada, el material es tratado con un proceso termomecánico
altamente controlado.

Wegen der guten Biokompatibilität der super-elastischen Drähte wurden diese zuerst in
der Medizintechnik verwendet. Als sogenannte orthodontische Bögen wurden sie erstmals
in den USA zur Zahnregulierung eingesetzt.
Durch die nahezu konstante Spannung über
einen weiten Dehnungsbereich bieten sie die
idealen Eigenschaften für eine schonende Behandlung.
Superelastische Titanlegierungen eignen sich
darüber hinaus besonders für Instrumente
und Geräte für vielfältige diagnostische und
therapeutische Eingriffe. Knicksicherheit,
Steuerbarkeit und extreme Biegbarkeit machen
superelastische Titanlegierungen einzigartig
für diese Anwendungen. Eschenbach entwickelte daraus eine revolutionäre Brillen-fassung.

dans la technique médicinale. Ils furent mis en
oeuvre pour la première fois aux Etats-Unis
dans l’orthodontie en tant que «voûte orthodontique». De par la tension presque constante
qu’ils assurent sur un vaste domaine d’extension, ils offrent les propriétés idéales pour un
traitement soigneux. Les alliages de titan hyper-élastiques conviennent de plus tout particulièrement aux instruments et aux appareils
destinés aux interventions diagnostiques et

El enfoque de la calidad
Las monturas Eschenbach cumplen o superan
los requisitos de la directriz 93 / 42 / CEE para
productos medicinales y, por consiguiente,
están marcadas según la norma CE.
Garantía: Asumimos garantía según las disposiciones legales en caso de defectos de fabricación o de material defectuoso de la montura. En la garantía no se contemplan los daños
causados por uso indebidó, falta de cuidado,
accidentes, desgaste natural, asi como daños

Atención: Las monturas TITANflex ® son super elásticas pero no irrompibles. Las piezas
TITANflex ® no se deberían doblar más de 60°.
