This townhouse is both colonial and modern, and lies in the heart of Gustavia with an
incredible view of the sea. It is a brand new property and possesses two architectural
styles, outwardly contrasting in appearance and yet complementing one another in
both style and form. From the front, the villa has a West Indies regal spirit, with Italian
wooden louvered shutters and conventional Caribbean balconies on the first floor. On
entering the private sea side villa and across to the patio, the fundamental modernity
of this luxury rental villa becomes apparent. This villa has succeeded in its objective to
offer total tranquillity, a stunning view of the sea and a panorama on the most beautiful
sunsets St. Barth can offer.
The entrance hall is impressive with a distinctive Sicis mosaic floor, an extraordinary
designer chandelier, and artistic black-and-white photographs of St. Barth's flora. The
décor is mostly of Italian design including an armchair formed like a rose petal by
Giovannetti, white leather Serico chairs, lamps by Penta and Déluce and a Cyrus
coffee table. Paintings created for the villa by the artist Dominique Legrand adorn the
walls. Every part of its design down to the most delicate touches has been chosen
specifically for this house. The living area and kitchen open up to the terrace at the
back of the villa with amazing sea views. The living room is spacious with snug white
leather sofas. Amenities include a DVD player, flat screen TV, a stereo, Wi-Fi and a
French satellite connection. The kitchen is large and modern with a breakfast bar
seating seven people.
Fabrics with striking colour harmonies such as red, black and white, natural grey and
fresh green and golden yellow add to the décor in the bedrooms. The bathrooms
themselves are complete works of art with Caribbean style mosaics that are redefined
in a beautiful and modern way. The villa has six large private bedrooms each with an
en suite bathroom with double vanity and walk-in shower and a dressing area. The
master bedroom is located on the ground floor next to the terrace and two other

ground floor bedrooms are located in the main building. The three other bedrooms are
located in the main building on the first floor. The first floor bedrooms have roof
terraces with clear sea views. All the bedrooms have king beds except for two upstairs
rooms with where the king beds can be separated into two twin beds. All the rooms
have air conditioning, a DVD player, a flat screen TV and an in-room safe. Each room
has its own colour scheme and wooden floors.
The large wooden terrace at the back of the house overlooks the ocean. There are two
pools one of which lies vertical to the ocean between the living area building and the
master bedroom building. The other infinity pool blends in perfectly with the ocean.
Their mosaics are reminiscent of the seabed. Surrounding the pool is a gas grill and
deckchairs and on one side there is also a fitness wall. Between the main building and
back buildings are beautiful small lawns with tall palm trees.
All bookings that include Christmas Day or New Year's Day will be charged at the
Holiday Rate for a minimum of 7 to 14 days, depending on the villa selected.
