BY-PASS GASTRIQUE : INDICATIONS COMPLICATIONS ET RÉSULTATS (3)
INDICATIONS
Comparé aux procédures restrictives le BPG est plus efficace mais le geste est plus difficile d'où un risque de
morbidité et de mortalité plus élevé .De ce fait il est raisonnable de le réserver à certaines indications :
1 - Les super-obèses ( IMC > 50 ) compte tenu du taux d'échecs important avec les méthodes restrictives1 5
2 - Les obésités associées à un diabète de type II notamment lorsque celui-ci est difficile à
contrôler1 2 , 1 3
3 - Les troubles du comportement alimentaire ; sweet-eaters, binge-eaters2
4 - Les contre-indications des méthodes restrictives .( hernie hiatale non réductible , trouble moteur de l' œsophage,
absence de sensation de satiété, capacité intellectuelle diminuée )
5 - Les complications et les échecs des procédures restrictives1 6 .
