SPECIFIC TOPICS
This first workshop will be a venue where exchange of
applications and ideas face to face in order to find a
global partner for collaborations by which, we could
advance and explore new ideas and findings. Hopefully,
the
workshop
discussions,
presentations
and
contributions play significant roles to update the
knowledge of the field of mechanical structures and
materials.
In particular, IWMSM 2014 will bring together
distinguished researchers, delegates from around the
world and PhD students who are interested in the
calculation and structures modeling, the study of
mechanical
behavior
of
materials
and
their
characterization and the interaction between coupled
physical phenomena (thermal-fluids-structures).
The importance of the Structural Mechanics and
Materials approach constitute a scientific research
platform and a core competency to support the regional,
national and international development of the University
Hadj Lakhdar Batna in partnership with industry in the
region which is in full expansion.
WORKSHOP THEMES
Presentations are focused on:
AIMS AND SCOPE
The Workshop will be organized in the form of debates
lectures by renowned Invited Researchers, thematic
workshops and poster sessions.
The Workshop Objectives are :
1. Establish an international forum bringing together
researchers
from
different
countries
to
communicate the latest developments in the field of
Structural Mechanics and Materials.
2. Create an exchange network among participants
from academia, research laboratories and industry.
3. Consolidate existing academic relations and
promote collaboration between the different
laboratories involved in research in mechanics.
4. Contribute to the training of young researchers in
the field of mechanics and materials.
