UNESCO, and Medea Mei Figner's Prize for the role of Lisa..
1997 - Prize winner of the Fondation Marie Dauphin de Verna under the aegis of the Fondation de France.
June 1996 - Unanimous First Prize at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.

Evangéline Brunoy practised the piano for several years, before taking singing lessons at the
Conservatoire Royal de Musique de Liège under José Van Dam, then at the Civica Scuola di Musica
di Milano. These studies led her finally to enter in 1992 the Conservatoire National Supérieur de
Musique et de Danse de Paris. In 1996, after unanimously winning First Prize for voice at the
Conservatoire, she continued her studies with advanced courses with Christiane Eda-Pierre.
Winner of the International Singing Competition in Spoleto (Italy) in 1996 and the Marie Dauphin
de Verna's Foundation under the aegis of the Fondation de France in 1997, she played the Role of
Suor Genovieffa in Puccini's Suor Angelica at the Spoleto Opera Festival in 1996.
She also played Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos by Richard Strauss at the Opéra de Rennes in 1997 and
at the Opéra National du Rhin in 1999. For this theater, she was also Madame Lidoine (cover) in
Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmélites.
In November 1999, she won the International Singing Competition Pique Dame and the Prize of
Medea Mei Figner for the role of Lisa which sang at Bolshoï.
In October 2003 in Les Troyens by Berlioz, she was Cassandre (cover) and Hécube at the Théâtre
du Châtelet in Paris under the directions of J.E Gardiner and Yannis Kokkos. In 2007, She
interpreted those roles at the Grand Théâtre de Genève under the directions of John Nelson and
Yannis Kokkos, and in 2010 at the De Nederlandse Opera of Amsterdam, directions John Nelson
and Pierre Audi. In November 2005, she was invited by the Deutsche Oper am Rhein of Düsseldorf
for Cassandra in a production of Christof loy.
She sang also the first Lady in Die Zauberflöte by Mozart in Theaters of Reims and Vichy in 20052006.
Moreover, for several years Evangéline Brunoy has taken part in creation of theatrical recitals : in
Paris, Les deux ailes de l'âme, arias of Dido and Cassandre by Berlioz, Cavalli and Purcell ; in June
2006, Marie-Antoinette femme et musicienne at the Château de Versailles for the re-opening of the
Hameau de la Reine, arias of Euridice by Gluck and Chimène by Sacchini, broadcasted by the radio
France Musique ; in July 2009, at the Festival of the Château de Sédières in France, RE/PLI/QUE
(Recital/PLIage/lyriQUE), a mixing of a contemporary repertoire (Twelve poems of Emily Dickinson
by Aaron Copland and Sieben frühe Lieder by Berg), with works of contemporary art origamis.
Finally, she interprets also heroines by Berlioz (Beatrice, Marguerite), Massenet (Chimène,
Salomé), Gluck (Iphigénie), Donizetti (Anna Bolena), Dvorak (Rusalka), Mascagni (Santuzza),
Messager (Elle in L'amour masqué), Offenbach (La Périchole, Die Grossherzogin of Gerolstein),
Ponchielli (La Gioconda), Puccini (Suor Angelica, Tosca), Smetana (Marenka), R. Strauss
(Ariadne), Tchaïkowski (Jolanta, Tatiana), Verdi (Aida, Amelia in Simon Boccanegra, Amelia in
Un ballo in maschera, Leonora), and Wagner (Sieglinde) ...
