opportuniste : naturellement curieux,
il vient rendre visite à ceux
qu’il ne connaît pas, tout en restant
sur ses gardes. Il est souvent
entouré de nombreux rémoras qui
profitent des restes de ses repas.
L’apnéiste n’est jamais au menu !

The tiger shark is an opportunistic
feeder, it is curious and pays a visit
to anything that could be a potential
meal but stays on its guard
at all times. It is often surrounded
by remoras who are satisfied
with the leftovers of a meal.
Freedivers are never on the menu!
Ce jour-là, le 23 avril 2008,
avec Pierre Frolla et William Winram,
nous avons eu une chance
extraordinaire : une visibilité de 35 m
et jusqu’à 8 requins-tigres
avec nous ! Année après année,
nous y retournons en espérant pouvoir
revivre cette journée d’exception.

are aware of how fortunate we were on
the 23rd of April 2008. We encountered
up to 8 tiger sharks at the same time
in 35m of visibility. Year after year
we go back there hoping to experience
something similar again, to capture
exceptional images and lifelong memories.
