Job description
Main responsibilities
You will be in charge of developing and executing PEPITe’s business development strategy. You will report
to the CEO and will be accountable for sustainable growth. The main duties of the Business Developer can
be summarized as follows: New Business Development; Business Development Planning; Client Retention.
That means:
•Together with the management committee, develop the sales and marketing strategy for the two axes of
the company(energy efficiency in industry and cloud analytics), with more focus on big data analytics
•Execute said strategy, primarily in Benelux, but with some high-potential customers in EMEA
•Develop marketing collaterals necessary to support said strategy (brochures, websites, presentations,
etc.)
•Must be equally adept at all facets of the sales process from lead generation through the sales process
itself and into account management and development. Keep a close contact with existing clients to further
develop PEPITe’s business with them
•Facilitate account revenue maximization through the account management activities
•Candidate should have the ability to manage executive level relationships (CIOs, Senior Information
Systems Executives, Senior Business Executives, Plant Manager) and partner relationships
(hardware/software vendors, integrators, consultants).
•Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling,
SPIN, Power based Selling, Target Account Selling.
Additional responsibilities:
•Provide feedback from customers to PEPITe’s software development team

Votre profil

Required expertise
•Important – Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; degree in
business administration or related field preferred
•Essential –
5 to 8 years of sales or business development of
technology products
(hardware/software/services)
•Essential - both outstanding numeric and literary capabilities as this assists the performance
•Essential – Fluent French and Dutch, very good knowledge of English
•Important – Experience in developing a sales and marketing strategy
•Important - experience with big data/ analytics software/ cloud computing is a plus

•Essential – Has a strong interest for technology, for the process and manufacturing industry and a strong
will to learn
•Essential – Has a strong desire to participate and contribute to the development of the company
•Essential – High energy, innovative, self-managed, hands-on, strong interpersonal, and multitasking, skills
•Essential - Good oral and written communications
•Essential - Has a “hunter” mentality – loves to cold call and open new accounts – requires strong phone
skills – not a “harvester” who loves to sell 1 big deal and manage the account
•Essential – Willing to travel up out of Belgium to 50% of your time
•Important – Good team player used to work in a collaborative way
