As part of the software department of a small company, you will participate to software development and
customer projects. You perform server and network administration as well as customer technical support.
With a good knowledge of Ampacimon hardware and software products you are available to assist the
deployment of Ampacimon solutions abroad at customer sites. In particular you follow closely the
integration into customers’ SCADA/EMS. Also as a R&D engineer you take part to software
development of new functionalities, HMIs and improvements to Ampacimon Dynamic Rating products from
A to Z (design, implementation, testing, …) and at every layer (system, database, server-side logic, user
interface, …). When required you actively participate to embedded software development by reviewing or
developing firmware.

– Experience of Object-Oriented Design and Programming.

– Working experience in Java and Linux.

– Working experience in Java EE, Web Application or Embedded Software is an asset

– Working experience in SCADA system and industrial protocols (eg. Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104) is an

– Knowledge of networking protocols / mobile and wireless communication (eg. GPRS, Lora, Sigfox) is an
asset
– Knowledge of Glassfish, PostgreSQL, MongoDB is an asset
– Achieve high quality results through thoughtful analysis and planning; target driven and result oriented
– Focus on quality, willing to take care of customer point of view
– Ease in investigation and troubleshooting activities
– Good written and verbal communication skills, shares information actively; responds properly, reports
on-time; accepts criticism and other opinions, addresses criticism constructively
– Willing to travel
– French speaker with a working knowledge of English
