VENUE :
Olympic ice rinck of Chamonix (60x30 meters, with an oval of 111,12 m and 5 tracks to
ensure good ice conditions).

Clubs des sports de Chamonix, speed Skating Departement, office Sportif et Educatif of
Chamonix.
CATEGORIE AND DISTANCES :
Ladies and Men :
- Peewee/Novices
- Junior-C
- Junior-B
- Junior-A/Senior
- Masters (Ladies 35+ on July 1st, Men 40+ on July 1st)
Olympic distance 1000m and 500m and « super final » over 1500m for the best 6 skaters
who have scored the highest total of final points after the two firsts events. For Novices 500m and
333m.
Relay : Men 5000m and Ladies 3000m
CLASSIFICATION
The skaters will be classified according to the number of points awarded is final only. There
will be a general individual classification over the three distances and a classification for the relay.
In case of ties, the results longer distance will decide between the skaters.
PRIZES :
Prizes will be awarded to the first three skaters of general classification and for the winning
teams of relay race.
Special prizes will be awarded for track records.
LIABILITY :
In accordance to the ISU rules, the organizers accept no liability for injury or damage
sustained by competitor and /or officials during the competition and for training sessions.
ENTRIES :
The entry fee for training and competition is 50 € for entries before 15 June 2009. After this
date, until 1 July 2009, it will be 60 €.
Entries must be done through the website www.shorttrackonline.info, before July 1st 2009
And should contain :
The name of the ISU Member affiliated Club making the entries
Family name, given name, date of birth, personal best time over 500m
Place, date and time of arival and departure.
NB : For safety and organizing matters, all participants must be international confirmed skaters.
The organizing committee is entitled to reduce the number of entries for each country if there are
too many participants.

TRAINING SESSIONS :
Only entered skaters will be allowed to skaters during the training sessions.
The Organizing Committee is entitled to reserve more training sessions for the national teams.
REGULATIONS :
The competition will be held according to the ISU rules.
During the training sessions and competitions, the equipment of all the skaters must be according to
the ISU rules.
Only the skaters who pay the entry fee will be allowed to skate at the training sessions in the
week before the competition.
