Motivation:
Why am I standing for election?
It is extremely important to me that people with disabilities are able to choose from a range of highquality, flexible and accessible support services that also meet their individual requirements and their
financial means (quality and quantity). The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
(CRPD) serves as our guiding light in the provision of these services. Self-determination, participation
and freedom of choice are the key paradigms here. The EASPD is an ideal platform to expedite jointly
and specifically the implementation of the UN CRPD. As a Board member, I will work determinedly to
effect such a change.
Meine Motivation
Es ist mir ein grosses Anliegen, dass Menschen mit Behinderung qualitativ hochstehende, flexible und
durchlässige Unterstützungsangebote zur Auswahl haben, welche auf ihre individuellen Bedürfnisse
und Ressourcen (qualitativ und quantitativ) abgestimmt sind. Die UN-Behindertenrechtskonvention
dient uns bei der Ausgestaltung dieser Angebote als Leitstern. Selbstbestimmung, Teilhabe und
Wahlfreiheit sind dabei die zentralen Paradigmen. Die EASPD ist eine ideale Plattform, um die
Umsetzung der UN-BRK gemeinsam und konkret voranzutreiben. Als Vorstandsmitglied werde ich
meine Energie gerne in diesem Sinne einsetzen.

Il me tient particulièrement à cœur que les personnes en situation de handicap puissent bénéficier
d’un choix d’offres de soutien qui soient d’excellente qualité, flexibles et accessibles, et qui
correspondent aux besoins individuels et aux ressources de chacun (d’un point de vue qualitatif et
quantitatif). La Convention de l’ONU relative aux droits des personnes handicapées nous sert de guide
pour concevoir ces offres. Autodétermination, participation et liberté de choix en constituent les
principaux paradigmes. L’EASPD est une plateforme idéale pour favoriser, dans un élan commun et
concret, la mise en œuvre de la CDPH. Si je deviens membre du comité, j’investirai alors toute mon
énergie dans ce sens.
