Clap de fin pour l’édition 2015 de Linen Lux et ses
lanternes XXL en lin qui ont illuminé les rues de
Paris Rive Droite et Rive Gauche à l’occasion de
Paris Deco Off.
The curtain has come down on the 2015 edition of
Linen Lux and its XXL linen lanterns which
illuminated the streets of Paris' Right and Left
Banks on the occasion of Paris Deco Off.

and Dye, la touche ethnique en noir et blanc
cassera une certaine rigueur ou une palette de
neutres. S’émancipant des habituels motifs
graphiques, ce duo two-tones s’invite aussi sur des
décors de jungle luxuriante, autre grand thème
2015.
Flocked, embroidered, striped, houndstooth or tiedyed linen, the ethnic touch in black and white will
break up a sense of strictness or a neutral palette.
Freeing itself from the usual graphic motifs, this
two-tone duo also turns up in decors inspired by

Afrique, Asie, Maroc, Mexique… Ailleurs,
l’invitation au voyage fait danser les ocres, rouges
et bruns, ponctués de corail et surtout de bleu. Le
bleu est roi, il investit tout en 2015, dans une
nouvelle couleur phare : le bleu canard, si beau
marié au noir, éclairé d’un jaune chartreuse. Bleu
tendre en pastels aquarellés ; bleu calme, en
colorama naturel et bleu lavé. Imprimé ou brodé en
motif point de croix, palmette ou cachemire sur des
lins blancs, l’indigo souffle à nouveau une fraicheur
hellène.
Africa, Asia, Morocco, Mexico - that sense of the
elsewhere, an invitation to travel that brings to life
ochres, reds and browns punctuated with coral and
especially blue. Blue is king, appearing everywhere
in 2015, in a new leading color: teal, pairing
beautifully with black, light up by chartreuse yellow.
A soft blue in watery pastels; a calm blue, in a
natural spectrum or as a faded blue. Printed or
embroidered as cross-stitch, palmette or cashmere
motif in white linen, indigo gives an inky freshness.
Et pour finir, la touche Arty, en grands aplats de
pinceaux à la Sonia et Robert Delaunay,
pointillisme et tachisme, drippings, dans une
palette vibrante, sur des lins nattés tissés pour des
rideaux ou des sièges qui ne sont pas faits pour
les intérieurs timides.
And to finish, we have the arty touch, in great flat
brushstrokes à la Sonia and Robert Delaunay,
pointillism, tachism and drippings in a vibrant
palette, on basketweave linens woven as curtains
or seat coverings not intended for timid interiors.
