Week 1 August 23-30th
Where did the summer go?? It’s hard to believe we are at the end but what a great summer for BEAU!
We hope that everyone enjoyed the pool and all its wonderful activities and lessons.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers that donate so much of their time during the summer to make
BEAU run so well. It may appear to run itself but I must tell you there is a small army of amazing people
that make it happen.
This summer we had a wonderful snack shack that was always filled with lots of goodies and great
snacks that was organized and run so well by Tatiana and Richard Deveau. Thank you also for organizing
our weekly BBQs and setting up for all our swim meets! Thank you also to Donna McLean, Ian
Gergovich, Margo Pollock, Tim Rozon, Annette Kopec, Louis Gariepy, Cathy Wagstaff, Tracy Darling,
Angie Rea, Christine Pelletier, Patrick Renaud and John Mancini. Without these people giving of their
time BEAU would not be such a wonderful success! Thank you to all those that helped build our new
gazebo and to those that helped early in the season with our new improvements for the snack shack.
Also to anyone who came to time at swim meets, BBQ on our BBQ nights and help organize special
events.
We still have one more BBQ this Friday August 23rd so if you haven’t volunteered yet it’s a great time to
start!!
On Friday August 23rd we will have a last Angie BBQ! It will start at 4:30 and end at 6:30 so that we can
all enjoy the awards night. Tickets go on sale at 4 PM! The dinner will be steaks and homemade veggie
burgers. We ask this time that everyone please bring a side dish to accompany the meal to share (4-6
portions) or a dessert. Regular burgers and hotdogs will be available as long as supplies last! Hoping to
see everyone there!
The awards evening starts at 7pm on Friday and will conclude with a great slideshow of the summer.
It’s open to all members! Saturday August 24th the guards have a fun day planned for all the kids at the
pool so make sure you come on down!
Lastly, big thanks to all the guards who make it so safe and fun for all of our kids! What an amazing job
they did this summer.
Wishing you all a fantastic winter! Looking forward to seeing you all again next year at BEAU! Because
we all know…..you just can’t beat The BEAUREPAIRE MACHINE!!!

On a pas vu l'été passé!! Difficile de croire que c'est la fin mais quel bel été pour BEAU!! Nous espérons
que vous avez profité de la piscine et de toutes se belles activités et leçons.
J'aimerais remercier tous les bénévoles qui ont donné de leur temps sans compter cet été permettant à la
machine BEAUREPAIRE de rouler sans accroc. Une organisation telle que BEAU ne fonctionne pas
toute seule, je dois vous dire qu'une petite armée de personnes fantastiques sont derrières le tout.
Cet été, la cantine a été très bien gérée offrant toutes sortes de gâteries et de collations intéressantes, le
tout orchestré par Tatiana and Richard Deveau. Merci aussi pour l'organisation des BBQ hebdomadaires
et de toutes les compétitions de natation! Merci aussi à Donna McLean, Ian Gergovich, Margo Pollock,
Tim Rozon, Annette Kopec, Louis Gariepy, Cathy Wagstaff, Tracy Darling, Angie Rea, Patrick Renaud et
John Mancini. BEAU ne serait pas un aussi grand succès sans eux! Merci à ceux qui ont aidé à construire
notre nouveau gazebo et à ceux qui ont aidé en début de saison avec les améliorations à la cantine. Merci
aussi à tous ceux et celles qui ont chronométré durant les compétitions de natation, cuisiné lors des
soirées BBQ et qui ont aidé lors des évènements spéciaux.
Un dernier BBQ est prévu pour ce vendredi le 23 août. Si vous n'avez pas encore eu l'opportunité de vous
porter volontaire, voici votre chance!
Le BBB du 23 août sera la dernier des fabuleux BBQ d'Angie! Le tout débutera à 16h30 et se terminera à
18h30 afin que tous puissent profiter de la soirée des Méritas. Les coupons seront en vente à partir de
16h. Au menu; steaks et hamburgers végétariens maison. Nous aimerions que chaque famille apporte un
plat d'accompagnement à partager (4-6 portions) ou un dessert. Des hotdogs et hamburgers
traditionnels seront aussi disponibles, tant qu'il y en aura ! En espérant vous y rencontrer!
La soirée des Méritas débutera à 19h vendredi et se terminera avec un super diaporama des meilleurs
moments de l'été. Tous les membres sont invités!
Samedi le 24 août, les sauveteurs ont prévu une journée amusante pour tous les enfants, venez y faire un
tour!
Finalement, un gros merci à tous les sauveteurs qui ont contribué à un été amusant et sécuritaire pour
nos enfants! Quel BEAU travail !
Nous vous souhaitons un hiver fantastique! Nous avons déjà hâte de vous revoir à BEAU l'an prochain
parce que comme vous le savez tous.... La machine BEAUREPAIRE est imbattable!!
