Dans le cadre de l’Année internationale des
personnes d’ascendance africaine, du Mois
de l’Histoire des Noirs, et du centenaire de la
présence de populations d’ascendance
africaine en Saskatchewan, La Communauté
des Africains Francophones de Saskatoon
organise en collaboration avec Saskatchewan
African Canadian Heritage Museum, et
Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan,
« l’Exposition du Centenaire », du 21 au 26
février 2011 à Saskatoon.
In this International Year of People
of African Descent, and the centennial of the
presence of people of African ancestry in
Saskatchewan, La
Communauté
des
Africains Francophones de Saskatoon, in
partnership with the Saskatchewan African
Canadian Heritage Museum and the
Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan, is
organizing
the “Exhibition
of
the
Centennial” in Saskatoon from Monday,
February 21 to Saturday, February 26, 2011.
Nous recherchons activement des archives,
photos, œuvres d’art, etc. de personnes
d’ascendance africaine s’étant installées dans
la province depuis le début des années 1900
jusqu'à 2011.
We are looking for archives, pictures,
artwork, etc. from people of African ancestry
of Saskatchewan from early 1900s to 2011.
Vous pouvez participer à cet évènement
historique en prêtant vos œuvres et autres
documents.
Nous en assurons le transport et nous vous
les restituerons après l’exposition.
Vous pourriez aussi être filmé afin de
partager votre histoire et celle de votre
famille en Saskatchewan avec la population
Saskatchewannaise.
You could be a part of this great event by
lending us your material. We will take care
of everything, including the transportation.
Everything will be returned to you after the
Exhibition.
Furthermore, you could be recorded in a
video to share your history and that of your
family in Saskatchewan with the people of
Saskatchewan.
