This property is located north and west of Miner Lake, in
the Fairweather Hills, some 28 kilometres south-southeast of
IMer
The Georgia
claim was owned in 1901 by T.A. Rogers; work to
date included open cuts and a 30' adit. The Lytton claim,
located south of the Georgia, was owned by J.B. Silverthorn, of
Lytton. The Georgia, Brigman, and Redwood Fr. (Lots 1101-1103
respectively) were Crown-granted in 1903 to Mira Monte Mining
Company, Limited. By 1905 a 35' shaft had been sunk on the
Georgia. The company charter was surrendered in 1918.
The ground was held in 1972 as the Emerald 1-15 claims by
Krancor Oil & Gas Ltd. Magnetometer and geochemical surveys
were carried out.
