A major fundraiser is underway for the Cornwall Catholic Secondary Schools Mission
Trip to the Dominican Republic. It is an online fundraiser where you can renew current
magazines or order new ones. Thirty-seven percent of the amount you pay before tax,
is returned to the Mission Group as a donation. Thanks for taking time to browse the
500 magazines that are available. Please spread the word about this fundraiser to

Precious Blood Parish in Glen Walter will be holding regular BINGO nights starting
in September. Our next bingo will be on Wednesday, November 7h, 2012 in the

The Three English Cornwall Catholic Secondary Schools are
preparing for a joint Mission Trip to San Jose de Ocoa, Dominican Republic, which will
take place from March 8 to 16, 2013. Students and staff who go on this trip help to build
houses, schools and latrines etc… in poor mountain villages. If you would like to make
a donation to go towards this life-changing trip, a registered charitable donation receipt
can be issued for donations of $20 or more (cheques made payable to C.D.S.B.E.O.)
Please send donations to Sr. Terry Ann Wilson, St-Joseph’s Catholic Secondary
School, 1500 Cumberland St., Cornwall, ON K6J 5V9, or you can give it to Fr. Jacques
Labelle and he will bring it to school.

trustee representation for your community and entitles you to vote for a trustee of the Catholic

Catholic education exists today because of the support of Catholic parents and ratepayers. As a
residential; English separate school supporter, the Property classification section of your Property
Assessment Notice should read “English Separate”. To change your classification, please contact
the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (www.mpac.on.ca) for a copy of the Application
for Direction of School Support. A form can also be obtained by request through the Catholic
District School Board of Eastern Ontario by calling 1-800-267-7136.
Holy Trinity Secondary Schools Mission Team is well underway with their fundraising efforts. We have 3 different methods to choose from at this point: magazine subscriptions, gift card purchases and fair trade coffee to order. Lions Club Hall in Bonville on Saturday, October 27th. Cocktail hour at 5:30pm,
