BIOGRAPHIQUES
Titre : International development expert - Entrepreneur
Organisation/Affiliation : ScaleChanger
Courte biographie :
Isabelle Hoyaux is an expert in international development and social entrepreneurship, in Africa, Asia and
Europe.
Having graduated from Imperial College (UK) and the ESSEC Business School (France), she began her
career as a strategy consultant at L.E.K. in London. She then turned to the social sector, working for the
French non-profit voluntary organisation Unis-Cité, where she was responsible for private fundraising and
then became administrative and financial director.
Development specialist, she then joined the NGO Right To Sight to replicate an innovative solution to
access health care from India to Africa.
She then led the CIDR, Centre International de Développement et de Recherche, an international aid
organisation with 50 years of experience leading innovative programs in Africa in the fields of
entrepreneurship, food security, microfinance, health and local development.
Ms Hoyaux was elected board member of Coordination SUD, the French aid organisations platform.
In 2014, she founded ScaleChanger that supports the scaling of social innovations (www.scalechanger.org)
OBJECTIF DU COURS :
This seminar aims:
- to provide solid foundations to and understanding of international development project design, negotiation,
implementation, evaluation, dissemination to understand the major strategic and operational issues and
challenges that the various stakeholders face.
- to develop indispensible skills in project design, strategic analysis, partnership development and impact
analysis.
- to provide the critical tools, techniques and skills used by NGOs and the major international bilateral and
multilateral organisations (European Union, French Development Agency,…) as well as private foundations.
