Question 1:
Who covers shipping from our facility to yours for each order pulled from Ariba?

The requirement for the Contractor to supply a First Aid Vest has been removed from this
RFP. Please see the amendments below.
I have a vest that has a 5 point tear-away but is not fire retardant, is that an issue?

The Contractor will be responsible for all delivery charges, administration, costs and risk
of transport and customs clearance, including the payment of customs and duties.
Please refer to Appendix E-3: Financial Proposal.

From what we have been told you cannot have a fire retardant vest made out of polyester or a polyester
blend. Also, the colour of the vest will be more of a lime yellow than the first aid green. The imagery will
be the first aid green but not the vest itself.

Amendments to the RFP
1) At the OVERVIEW of the RFP:

2) At Article 3.3.1, titled “General Conditions”:

For first aid kit soft shelled padded containers, stretchers, and first aid vests: Thirty-six (36)
months after delivery and acceptance of the Work or the length of the Contractor’s or
manufacturer's standard warranty period, whichever is longer.
INSERT:
(a) For first aid kit soft shelled padded containers, and stretchers: Thirty-six (36) months after
delivery and acceptance of the Work or the length of the Contractor’s or manufacturer's standard
warranty period, whichever is longer.
3) At Article 3.5, titled “Requirement”:

To supply, package and deliver First Aid Kits (Type A & C), Individual First Aid Items, and First Aid Vests to CRA
locations across Canada, on an “as and when requested” basis, in accordance with the Statement of Work
(SOW), attached hereto as Appendix A and forming part of this Contract, and your proposal dated
day/month/year.

To supply, package and deliver First Aid Kits (Type A & C) and Individual First Aid Items to CRA locations across
Canada, on an “as and when requested” basis, in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), attached
hereto as Appendix A and forming part of this Contract, and your proposal dated day/month/year.
4) At Appendix A: Statement of Work, Section 1.0 titled “Background & Objective”:

Associated with the requirement for the CRA to have a First Aid Program, there is also the need to bring attention
to those rendering first aid. This Statement of Work would also include a portable and visible first aid vest for
attendants to wear in the event of a building evacuation.
