Flying high – KPMG promotes a third of staff and
boosts leadership ranks
In October 2014, KPMG Luxembourg will see a third of its employees move up to the next level in a
record year for promotions. Overall, 337 individuals were promoted in this year’s annual evaluations as
part of a people strategy aimed at rewarding high fliers and developing talent.
KPMG Luxembourg also announces the appointment of 8 new Partners, all selected from within the firm.
Antoine Badot, Geoffroy Gailly, Jan Klopp, Gilles Poncin, Emmanuelle Ramponi, Françoise Renard, Björn
Ruppenthal and Mickäel Tabart - will bring the total number of partners to 56, effective 1 October 2014. In
addition, 10 new Directors – Jérôme Bernard, Joseph De Souza, Corinna Goldkuhle, Sophie Hustinx,
Valeria Merkel, Jean-Paul Olinger, Dr. Martin Reinhard, Heike Weber, Marco Weber and Alexis Wolf
further strengthen the leadership of the firm.
Commenting on the new appointments, Georges Bock, Managing Partner, said, “Our clients continue to
look for the full spectrum of financial service business expertise. Combining the talents and strengths of
the new Partners and Directors with those of our current leadership team will make us a clear choice in
our market going forward. A strong team is the best way to ensure that our clients are always one step

„Flying high“ – KPMG befördert ein Drittel der
Belegschaft und stärkt die Führungsriege
Im Oktober 2014 wird ein Drittel der Belegschaft von KPMG Luxemburg die nächste Stufe ihrer Karriere
erreichen, ein Beförderungs-Rekord. Insgesamt wurden 337 Mitarbeiter aufgrund der diesjährigen
Beurteilungen befördert. Dies entspricht der Strategie Talente zu fördern und ihren Leistungen
entsprechend zu würdigen.
Außerdem verkündet KPMG Luxemburg die Ernennung von acht neuem Partnern – innerhalb unseres
Betriebes. Antoine Badot, Geoffroy Gailly, Jan Klopp, Gilles Poncin, Emmanuelle Ramponi, Françoise
Renard, Björn Ruppenthal und Mickäel Tabart werden ab dem 1. Oktober 2014 die Zahl der Partner auf
56 ansteigen lassen. Zusätzlich werden zehn neue Direktoren - Jérôme Bernard, Joseph De Souza,
Corinna Goldkuhle, Sophie Hustinx, Valeria Merkel, Jean-Paul Olinger, Dr. Martin Reinhard, Heike
Weber, Marco Weber und Alexis Wolf - das Führungsteam der Firma verstärken.
Georges Bock - Managing Partner - kommentiert die neuen Ernennungen wie folgt: “ Wenn es um

En octobre 2014, KPMG Luxembourg verra un tiers de ses employés passer au niveau supérieur dans
une année record pour les promotions. Près de 337 personnes ont été promues lors des évaluations
annuelles, dans le cadre d’une stratégie axée sur les individus et visant à récompenser les meilleurs
éléments et à développer les talents.
KPMG Luxembourg annonce également la nomination de 8 nouveaux associés, tous sélectionnés au
sein de l’entreprise. Antoine Badot, Geoffroy Gailly, Jan Klopp, Gilles Poncin, Emmanuelle Ramponi,
Françoise Renard, Björn Ruppenthal et Mickäel Tabart – iront renforcer les effectifs des associés qui
seront 56 à partir du 1er octobre. De plus, 10 nouveaux directeurs - Jérôme Bernard, Joseph De Souza,
Corinna Goldkuhle, Sophie Hustinx, Valeria Merkel, Jean-Paul Olinger, Dr. Martin Reinhard, Heike
Weber, Marco Weber et Alexis Wolf – rejoindront l’équipe dirigeante.
