The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Liège, Belgium is
looking to recruit a Veterinary Anaesthetist to reinforce the team of four
anaesthetists in the Companion Animal Hospital.
The successful candidate will predominantly work in the clinics of the
Companion Animal Hospital where mainly dogs and cats are anaesthetized
for a variety of indications (surgery, imaging, diagnostic procedures, …).
The successful candidate will train residents of all disciplines, interns and
final year veterinary students by instructing them on the anaesthetic and
analgesic management of their patients. The position allows the candidate to
undertake scientific research in the field of veterinary anesthesia, analgesia or
intensive care to study towards a PhD degree. The position includes a 1-in-3
out of hours rotation.
Deadline for application is the 30/06/2013. Preference will be given to a
candidate with an advanced level of training in veterinary anesthesia. For
