Consignes de nettoyage
Pour l’entretien journalier, dépoussiérez vos meubles avec un
chiffon doux et sec. L’opération doit se faire par un mouvement
de va et vient, toujours dans le sens du fil du bois.
Les variations de nuances et de dessin que l’on constate parfois
d’un élément à l’autre sont le propre des matériaux naturels,
dont ils font le charme.
Pour l’entretien mensuel, nettoyez les surfaces avec chiffon
doux, légèrement humidifié.
Ces différences peuvent être accentuées selon le sens d’exposition d’une surface à la lumière (dans le sens du fil du bois ou
à 45° par rapport au fil).
N’utilisez jamais les produits à base de silicone, ammoniaque
et huile.
Il suffit de changer cet angle pour constater que ce qui paraît
être une autre nuance n’est en fait qu’un effet de lumière.
Conseils d’utilisation
Pensez aux sous-mains et sous-verres afin de protéger vos
surfaces contre les rayures ou les chocs thermiques engendrés
par des tasses et verres posés à même le bois.
Dans la mesure du possible, soulevez les objets lorsque vous les
utilisez, au lieu de les tirer ou de les pousser, ce qui est l’une des
principales causes de rayures.
Munissez de patins de feutre vos accessoires pouvant se trouver
sur le plan de travail.
Le vernis de vos meubles peut être endommagé au contact
prolongé de patins de caoutchouc ou de plastique.
Evitez le contact prolongé de certains classeurs en vinyle avec
les surfaces de vos meubles. Elles empêchent le bois de bien
«respirer» et peuvent altérer le vernis.
Pour permettre une patine homogène et éviter toute marque il
est vivement conseillé, pendant les 3 ou 4 premiers mois suivant
votre installation, de déplacer régulièrement les objets et accessoires situés sur votre bureau et sur vos meubles.

The features of wood
Your furniture owes its elegance to wood, a living material.
The variation of shade and pattern that may be noted between
one element and another are peculiar to the natural materials,
and is all part of their appeal.

worksurface is exposed to the light (in the direction of the wood
grain, or at 45° to the grain).
You have simply to alter the angle to note that what appears to
be another shade is, in fact, an effect of the light.
Some advice on how to use your furniture
Make a point of using desk-pads or mats in order to protect
your worksurfaces from grazes and scratches and effects of
«hot and cold» from cups or glasses put down directly on the
wood.
When possible, lift objects when you use them, instead of
drawing them towards you or pushing them away from you; this
is one of the main causes of scratches.
Line the bases of your accessories that might be placed on the
desktop with felt.
The varnish of your furniture can be damaged after lengthy
contact with rubber or plastic runners.
Avoid prolonged contact between the vinyl covers of certain
binders and the worksurfaces of your furniture. They prevent
the wood from «breathing» properly and may damage the
varnish. In order to obtain a homogeneous patina and avoid
any mark, it is highly recommended during the following 3 to 4
months of the installation of your furniture, to regularly avoid any
