AX3000
“AX3000“ ist das Ergebnis erfolgreicher Zusammenarbeit mit Praktikern aus den Fachbereichen
Gebäudetechnik sowie Fachschulen und Universitäten aus den Bereichen Strömungstechnik und
Energiemanagement. Durch die einfache Benutzeroberfläche kann das System von jedem Praktiker
innerhalb kurzer Zeit mit Erfolg wirtschaftlich zum Einsatz kommen. „AX3000“ ist ein
CAD/CAM/CAFM System, das durch seine Flexibilität an die Erfordernisse der einzelnen Betriebe

practisers of the plant-engineering sector, the technical schools and universities specialised on

DER AUFBRUCH IN DIE DRITTE DIMENSION
Die Basis für AX3000 bilden Linien Blöcke und Materialtabellen aus denen automatisch 3D-Systeme
berechnet werden. Auf Grund verschiedener Medien und Parametern können einfach Varianten erstellt
werden. Als CAD-Kernel kann AutoCAD und ALLPLAN eingesetzt werden.
ELEVATION IN THE THIRD DIMENSION
Lines, blocks and material tables form the basis for AX3000 and automatically three-dimensional systems
are estimated. Variants can simply be created on basis of different media and parameters. AutoCAD or
Allplan provide as CAD-Kernel
VOM ARCHITEKTEN
„AX3000“ setzt direkt auf den Architektenplan auf. Die Gebäudestruktur wird mit Gebäudephysik
ergänzt und bildet als intelligentes Raumbuch die Grundlage für die Heiz-, Kühllast und
Energiemanagement. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Gebäudesimulation, sie ermöglicht die optimale
Ermittlung der Lastverteilung über einen Jahresverlauf mit verschiedener Gebäudephysik.
FROM THE ARCHITECT
AX3000 is directly based on the architectural drawing. The building structure is complemented with
material properties and provides as basis for an intelligent room hierarchy for heating and cooling load as
well as energy management. Another highlight is the building simulation, which allows to determine the
optimum load distribution over an annual period with different parameters.
... ÜBER DIE PROJEKTIERUNG
Basis für die weitere Planung der Versorgungstechnik bilden die ermittelten Lasten, deren Verteilung und
die Trassenführung. Nach Festlegung der Randbedingungen wird die Dimensionierung für die
verschiedenen Gewerke durchgeführt, und das Kanal- oder Rohrnetz generiert. Auf diese Weise sind
Varianten-Berechnungen sehr einfach zu erstellen.
Die Projektierung bildet als eigenes Modul die gleichen Ergebnisse ( Pläne, Listen) wie die Konstruktion.
Sie kann sowohl Grundlage für die Ausführung als auch eine eigenständige Lösung sein. Verschiedenste
Berechnungen wie Querschnittsberechnungen, Druckverlust oder Druckabgleich sind Bestandteil von
AX3000.
... THROUGH THE PLANNING
On the basis of the loads, their distributions and the route the further planning of HVAC takes place. Once
the basic data is defined the dimensioning is carried out automatically and the duct- or pipe plant will be
generated. In this way variants-calculations are very easy to create. The planning software, used alone,
gives the same results (plans, lists) as the construction. It can be used either as a basis for the execution
stage or be used on its own.
Other calculation programs are elements of “AX3000” as for example cross section calculations, pressure
loss or pressure balancing, etc.
... AUSFÜHRUNG UND MONTAGEPLAN
Mit dem Konstruktionsprogramm können einfach Kanal- und Rohrnetze konstruiert, berechnet und
geändert werden. Die Grundformen des Systems sind 3-dimensional über Parameter definiert, die
Einbauteile werden in einer Bibliothek zur Verfügung gestellt, die einfach vom Anwender erweiterbar ist.
Die Konstruktion erfolgt in einem Modellbereich wobei die Trassenführung in den jeweils aktiven
Ansichten automatisch mitgezeichnet wird. Dabei können während der Konstruktion neue Planausschnitte
und in der Tiefe begrenzte Schnitte zusätzlich definiert werden! Die Dimensionierung erfolgt wahlweise
über Eingabe des Querschnittes, Volumenstroms oder R-Wertes. Alle für die Berechnung relevanten
Daten werden automatisch gespeichert und können jederzeit abgerufen werden. Aufgrund der hinterlegten
Materialien und Normen werden in Abhängigkeit der Druckstufen automatisch Formteile zugeordnet. Die
automatisch zugeordneten Materialien können während der Konstruktion angezeigt und sofort geändert
werden. Einzelne Positionen und ganze Teile des Systems können in einfacher Weise geändert,
manipuliert oder kopiert werden. Eine wesentliche Hilfe bei der Planerstellung besteht in der
automatischen Layerzuweisung durch hinterlegte Standards. Die Ausgabe auf den
Plotter erfolgt mit automatischer Darstellung der verdeckten Kanten und Flächen.
Durch automatische Beschriftungen wird der Plan optimal ergänzt.
Die Zentralenplanung für Lüftung und Medienverteilung wird durch hinterlegte Herstellerkomponenten
und komfortable Funktionen unterstützt.

... EXECUTION AND ASSEMBLING PROJECT
With the construction program you can design, calculate, modify, networks of pipes and ducts in a simple
way. The basic forms are defined in a three-dimensional parametric way, the components can be loaded
from a file, which can be easily extended by the user. The construction is carried out in a model space,
with possibility to visualize the objects automatically in every view. Different sections and details can be
defined during the construction from every point of view and depth! All the important calculation data is
defined automatically and is always at your disposal. On the basis of the norms of construction and of the
filed materials they are defined according to the class of pressure, the connections and types of metal
sheet. All the parameters and materials can be modified at any time directly on the drawing on the
screen… Single positions and entire parts of plants are manipulated, modified or copied. A considerable
help, at the execution of a project, offers the automatic layer assignment by defaults. The printing of the
projects on a plotter takes place with the automatic generation of the hidden lines and surfaces.
Trough automatic labels the plan will be extended optimal.
The central planning for ventilation and media distribution will be supported by a database of components
and convenient functions.
... ZU LISTEN
In jedem Planungsabschnitt können aufgrund der
Materialdatenbank Stücklisten, Zuschnittlisten,
Massenauszüge und Bestellunterlagen erstellt
werden. Die Ausgabe der frei konfigurierbaren
Listen erfolgt prinzipiell im Excelformat. Die
Fertigungsdaten können direkt an einen Laser- oder
Plasmaschneider übergeben werden. Dafür stehen
mehrere genormte und seit Jahren praxiserprobte
Schnittstellen zur Verfügung.

For each working stage of an order different types of
lists can be generated on the basis of the material file:
lists of prices, development, quantity and orders. The
output of the free configurable lists principle takes
place in Excel Format. The construction (CAM) data
is sent directly to the software, which manages the
Plasma or laser cutting machines. The ESS offers
different types of interfacing, which have been
normalized and tested for many years with the
experience gained.

Alle Räume oder Zonen können einzeln, in Gruppen
oder geschossweise in einer übersichtlichen
Explorerstruktur visualisiert werden. Alle erfassten
Objekte werden über einfache Definition und
Kombination
von
Eigenschaften
grafisch
dargestellt. Diese Auswertungen stehen sofort als
Excellisten für weitere Auswertungen zur
Verfügung.

All rooms or zones are visualized separately, in
groups or for each floor within a tree view. The
assembled objects can be viewed graphically
according to a simple definition and combination of
attributes. All calculations are available as Excel
lists immediately for further analysis.
Zusammenfassung
Die Problematik jeder technischen Auftragsabwicklung bildet das
Zusammenspiel von Planung, Konstruktion, Arbeitsvorbereitung,
Teilefertigung, Montage, Abrechnung und Kontrolle. Bei der
konventionellen Auftragsabwicklung werden wiederholt die
gleichen
Grunddaten
erzeugt,
die
einheitliche
Zeichnungserstellung ist zeitraubend und der Auszug der
notwendigen Stück-, Montage-, und Bestellisten endet bei
Großaufträgen in einem unkontrollierbarem Arbeitsaufwand. Das
hier vorgestellte System hat versucht, dem Techniker alle
Möglichkeiten der modernen Datenverarbeitung zugänglich zu
machen, ihm sein bisheriges Arbeitsumfeld weitestgehend zu
belassen und lästige Routinearbeiten zu übernehmen. “ AX3000 “
bietet dem Anwender eine kompatible und kostengünstige Lösung
vom PC bis zur Workstation im Netzwerk. Für die einzelnen
Fachbereiche werden abgestimmte Paketlösungen je nach
Anforderung angeboten.
CONCLUSION
The problems, found during the development of an order, are owing
to several factors, which are: planning, preparation, execution,
construction, assembling, calculations and control. During the
manual management of an order, it often happens, that the same
information becomes elaborated several times, therefore the hours
for the drawing management, material lists, assembling lists, orders,
become frequently uncontrollable, in great orders. The present
System offers to the technicians all the possibilities and modern
computer solutions in order to elaborate data, eliminating all the
repeated stages and creating a more extensive view and control of
the same order. “AX3000” offers solutions, which are extended
from the PC up to network stations.

The EDV Software Service has dedicated itself since 1978 to the
development of software, which is dedicated to the solving of problems in
specific sectors,, for example topography, construction of utensils,
enegineering and optimisation. Since 1986 the main activity of the firm has
been concentrated and specialized on plant engineering, being at the moment
the leader of the EU market. The development and training centre is situated
in Austria. Other branches are situated in Switzerland, Holland and the South
Europe sector is situated in Italy. At present the ESS covers the following
European countries: Austria, Germany, Italy, Luxemburg, Holland, Portugal,
