Bonjour Dear Parents,
It’s the month of red hearts, valentines and special cards made for
special people! Our classes are excited about the fun activities and
events in store for us this month of February.
In addition to traditional activities such as making valentines and
planning a class Valentine’s Day party, we will be observing
Groundhog Day by making our own weather predictions in the 4
years old classes. Also we will be talking about the ocean and all the
creatures in the ocean including the pirates. Be aware of sharks,
whales, dolphins, starfish, octopus and barracudas.

Beach Day and Montrer-Parler (Show’n tell)
Pirate Day
Valentine’s Day party: Children will have fun on this special day.
Special treats, games and cards exchange.
4 yr old special letter «Top Secret» card from Mom and Dad.
Backwards’ Day: Children can dress with their shirt with the design
on their back. We will start the day by singing « Aurevoir mes amis »
and doing all the schedule up side down. We may even walk
backward (à l’envers).
Field trip: Bow Habitat – 4 yr old only.
Beach Day: The children can wear their bathing suit, no sandals
please, bring towel, and sunglasses, etc. please write your child’s
name on all items.
Montrer-parler (show’n tell): One item from the ocean, it could be
a fish, boat, seashell, beach ball, plastic toys, etc.
Pirate’s Day: If you have a pirate’s costume your welcome to wear
it.
VALENTINE’S CARD EXCHANGE (#1)
Valentine’s cards, please do not write the name to who your child
will give the card, ONLY your child’s name on the card. This way it is
easier for children to drop the card in every mailbox by themselves.
For the 4 yr old it is a very good practice to write his or her name on
them. Valentines day will be celebrated on February 9th and 10th.

What to do:
Feed thousands of trout in the Fish Hatchery and
create a fishy craft!
How:
Mom or Dad drive to Bow Habitat Station:
Drop off: 9:00 am (Red class)
12:45 pm (Bleu class)
Pick up: 11:15 am
(Red class) 3:00 pm (Bleu class)
Cost: Free for student
Free for parent helpers
Admission:Adult: $10
Child: $5
Instructions:
Please make sure you drop off your child to Mme
Claudette (not to a parents volunteer) at the
entrance of the building.
