Team Canada Women's Volleyball – Senior Team Assistant Coach
(6-month contract)
Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach’s main function will be to assist the
Women’s National Team Program with the respective goals of producing elite athletes and
international competition excellence. The position is based at the national women’s training
centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Coach Role and Responsibilities:
Basic coaching responsibilities to include assisting in the following areas:
Ø Talent identification and selection of athletes for the national team programs.
Ø Developer of talent for the national team programs through the preparation of its athletes.
Ø Assist with team training and competition plans, providing the best possible tactical and
technical advice to all athletes involved in team, camps or competitions.
Ø Responsible for the performance analysis system of athlete’s, team and opponents –
including the development of scouting reports.
Desired Qualifications:
Ø Evidence of sufficient expertise and experience essential to coaching success at the
international level. Level III NCCP Volleyball Certification is desired.
Ø Strong keyboard & computer skills
Ø Knowledge of DataVolley software would be preferred
Ø Effective communication skills.
Ø Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
Ø Commitment to a challenging, demanding, spontaneous working environment.
Ø Knowledge of Canada's two official languages is an asset.
Term:
April 15 – October 15, 2015
Compensation:
Will be dependent on previous experience and qualifications at the national and international
level.
Start Date: April 15, 2015 (some flexibility)

Entraineur(e) adjoint(e) - Équipe nationale féminine senior
Contrat de 6 mois
Sous la direction de l’entraîneur chef, l'entraîneur(e) adjoint(e) est responsable de soutenir
l’entraîneur chef dans l’élaboration des orientations, de la planification et de l'entrainement du
programme de l'équipe nationale féminine, en concordance avec les objectifs établis par
Volleyball Canada. Le lieu de travail se situe au Centre d’entrainement national à Winnipeg.
Rôles et responsabilités
Ø Identification et sélection des athlètes pour le programme national féminin.
Ø Développement du talent et préparation des athlètes.
Ø Soutien de l’entraîneur chef en situation d’entrainement et de compétition.
Ø Analyse technique et tactique des athlètes et des équipes adverses, incluant la préparation à
l’adversaire
Compétences et qualifications recherchées:
Ø Succès comme entraîneur de volleyball intérieur au niveau international féminin.
Ø Certification PNCE minimale requise: Niveau 3 certifié.
Ø Bonnes relations interpersonnelles, bonnes aptitudes de communication verbale et écrite.
Ø Habileté à travailler avec le personnel de soutien et les bénévoles.
Ø Bonnes connaissances informatiques
Ø Connaissance du logiciel DataVolley est recommandée
Ø La capacité de communiquer dans les deux langues officielles est un atout.
Durée: 15 avril au 15 octobre 2015
