La voyelle "A" La lettre “a” – sounds like “aah” (what you say when a doctor does a
check up). Notice that it sounds like “aah” when:
• it is not followed by other vowels (this includes y)
• it is not followed by a single “n” or “m” (unless n/m is followed by a vowel).
Notice also that it is a bit distorted when followed by the letters “r” or “l”.
