PROPÓSITO EN PARTICULAR.
La solución descrita en el primer párrafo de esta garantía constituirá la única y exclusiva solución por incumplimiento de garantía, y la
Compañía no se hará responsable por daños accidentales, especiales o indirectos, incluyendo sin limitación, la pérdida de ganancias
o el costo de reparación o reemplazo de otra propiedad que resulte dañada por el mal funcionamiento de este producto, otros costos
resultantes por mano de obra, retardos, vandalismo, negligencia, obstrucciones ocasionadas por materiales extraños, daños debidos a
condiciones adversas del agua, químicos o cualquier otra circunstancia sobre la cual la Compañía no tenga control. Esta garantía no
tendrá validez en cualquier caso de abuso, uso indebido, aplicación incorrecta, instalación inadecuada, o mantenimiento adecuado o
alteración del producto.

contrôle de la Société. La présente garantie est déclarée nulle et non avenue en cas d’usage abusif ou incorrect, d’application, d’installation
ou d’entretien incorrects ou de modification du produit.
Certains États n’autorisent pas les limitations de durée d’une garantie tacite ou l’exclusion ou la limitation des dommages accessoires ou
indirects. Les limitations susmentionnées peuvent donc ne pas s’appliquer à vous. Cette garantie limitée vous donne des droits spécifiques

Limited Warranty: Watts Regulator Co. (the “Company”) warrants each product to be free from defects in material and workmanship
under normal usage for a period of one year from the date of original shipment. In the event of such defects within the warranty period,
the Company will, at its option, replace or recondition the product without charge.
THE WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN IS GIVEN EXPRESSLY AND IS THE ONLY WARRANTY GIVEN BY THE COMPANY WITH

charges, delays, vandalism, negligence, fouling caused by foreign material, damage from adverse water conditions, chemical, or any
other circumstances over which the Company has no control. This warranty shall be invalidated by any abuse, misuse, misapplication,
improper installation or improper maintenance or alteration of the product.
Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages. Therefore the above limitations may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal

que le demora mas tiempo a un plomero. Watts Brass and
Tubular ha simplificado al maximo esta instalacion.

1. Colocar la empaqueta dura de goma (B) sobre el codo (A)
de reboso y mantener en lugar con el soporte (W) el cual
es asegurado con 2 tornillos (Y).

Trip lever waste-plunger type
Installation of a Bath waste can be the most time consuming
trim operation performed by a plumber. Special attention has
been given by Watts Brass and Tubular to simplifying this job
as much as possible.
1. Place rubber gasket (B) on overflow (A) and hold in place
with retainer bracket (W) which is secured with (2)
machine screws (Y).
2. Insert retainer bracket (W) through hole of the bathtub,
leaving your hands free to complete the installation.
3. Apply a gasket or a bead of putty around the underside
flange of the shoe strainer (C).
9. Insert plunger linkage assembly (J) together with the
cover plate (K) and its lever mechanism through overflow
elbow from inside of tub.
10. Adjust linkage length to tub height size by turning the
threaded rod (M) up or down. Secure in place by tightening the adjustment locknut (O).
Notes: a) Wen in closed position, plunger (P) must fit snugly
inside seat of tee. b) Tee (F) and plunger (P) are coated
for positive seal; removal of seal may cause bypass.
11. Attach cover plate (L) to overflow elbow (A) using two (2)
chrome plated machine screws (S).
12. Check operation of plunger mechanism by raising and
lowering lever handle (L). Readjust if necessary.
4. Set the shoe elbow (D) under tub with rubber washer (E)
between shoe elbow (B) and tub.
13. Install strainer grid plate (R) and secure in place with grid
retaining screw (T). Leave the protective cover film to be
removed by the home owner.
5. Screw in shoe strainer (C) through tub into shoe elbow
(D). Use a strainer wrench or pliers to secure shoe strainer (C) into shoe elbow (D).
14. Water test the entire installation by filling up tub with
water to overflow opening and check for leakage.
6. Place one each slipnut (G) and washer (H) on shoe elbow
tube and on overflow elbow tube (threads of slipnuts facing outward).
7. Set adjustable waste tee (F) in place and tighten
slipnuts (G).
8. Install threaded tailpieces (I) into bottom of adjustable
waste tee (F) after it has been slipped into drain line. Use
pipe joint compound of teflon tape on tailpiece threads.
5. Atornillar el desague (C) a traves de la tina y dentro del
codo de desague (D) usar una llive o pinza para asegurar el desague (C) dentro del codo de desague (D).
15. Tighten up all slipjoint connections.
(Do Not Use Abrasive Cleaners)
9. Adjustar el largo del varillaje a la altura de la tina dando
vueltas la varilla roscada (K) hacia arriba o abajo.
Asegurar en su lugar ajustando la tuerca (O).
Notas: a) cuando en posicion cerrada el embolo (P) debe
acomodarse comodamente dentro del asiento de la “t”
b) “T” (F) de desague y el embolo (P) estan cubiertos
para cierre positivo, remover el sello causara
desviacion.
10. Colocar la cubierta (K) sobre el codo de reboso (A) usando los dos tornillos cromados (S).
11. Verificar mecanismo del embolo subiendo y bajando la
manecilla (L). Reajustar si es necesario.
12. Instalar la rejilla (R) y asegurar en su lugar con el tornillo
(T) dejar el plastico protector para remover al final.
13. Testear toda la instalacion llenaddo la tina con agua y
verificar por perdidas.
14. Adjustar todas las conexiones.
(no Usar limpiadords abrasivos)
6. Colocar una tuerca (G) y una agarradera (H) en el tubo
del codo de desague y lo mismo en el tubo de reboso
(las roscas de las tuercas hacia afuera).
7. Colocar la “T” de desague adjustable (F) en su lagar y
ajustar tuercas (G).
8. Enroscar la pieza de cola roscada (I) a la base de la “T”
(F) luego de habenla puesto dentro del tubo de desague.
Usar cinta de teflon o macilla de plombero en las roscas
de la pieza de cola.

4. Colocar el codo de desague (D) debajo de la tina con la
agarradera de goma (E) entre el codo de desague (D) y la
tina.

L’installation d’un trop plein de bain est probablement la
Réparation la plus coûteuse en temps pour un plombier. La
compagnie Watts Brass and Tubular à apporté une attention
toute spéciale afin de simplifier cette táche à son minimum.
1. Mettre le joint de caoutchouc (B) sur le coude trop plein
(A) et fixer avec un écrou de blocage (W), lui-méme fixé
avec deux vis (Y).
2. Insérer l’écrou de blocage (W) à travers le trou du bain,
afin d’Avoir les mains libre pour terminer votre installation.
3. Mettre un joint d’étanchéité ou du mastic autour du
rebord dessous le sabot à passoire (C).
4. Poser le coude du sabot (D) sous le bain avec une rondelle de caoutchouc (E) entre le coude du sabot (D) et la
baignoire.
5. Visser le sabot à passoire (C) à travers le bain sur le
coude du sabot (D). utiliser une clé ou des pinces pour
attacher solidement le sabot à passoire (C) dans le coude
du sabot (D).
6. Mettre un écrou coulissant (G) et une rondelle (H) sur le
tube du coude de sabot et sur le tube du coude trop plein
(le côté taraudé de l’écrou vers l’extérieur).
7. Poser le raccord trop plein réglable (F) à sa place et serrer les écrous (G).
8. Installer la tige taraudé (J) sur le dessous du raccord du
trop plein réglable (F) aprés qu”il. A été glissé sur la ligne
de vidange. Utiliser de la p`ate de plombier ou du ruban
teflon sur le filetage de la tige.
9. Insérer l’assemblage plongueur avec chaínon (J) ensemble avec la plaque décorative (K) et le méchanisme de
levier à travers le coude du trop plein à l’inténeur du bain.
10. Ajuster la longueur du chaínon à la hauteur du bain en
tournant la tige à filets (M) vers le h aut ou vers le bas.
Attaché solidement en serrant le contre écrou d’justement
(O).
à Noter: a) dans la position fermé, le plongeur (P) doit étre un
peu serrer à l’indu raccord T. b) Le raccord T (F) et
le plongeur (P) sont récouverts d’un enduit de protection; enle ver cet enduit peut créé des problémes
de raccordement.
11. Attacher la plaque décorative (K) sur le coude du trop
plein (A) en utilisant deux (2) vis à placage chrome (S).
12. Vérifier l’opération du méchanisme du plongeur en levant
ou baissant la pnoigné du levier (L). Réajuster au besoin.
13. Installer la grille de la passoire (R) et attacher solidement
avec la visde soutien à grille (T). Laisser le film protecteur
à étre enlever par le propriétaire.
14. Faire un essai de votre installation, remplir le bain plus
haut que l’ouverture du trop plein et vérifier l’étanchéité.
15. Serrer tout les raccordements.
(ne pas utiliser de detergents abrasifs)
