♥ Go!Winter Active is a great way to get active with your family and friends! Join Phyllis Clark on
Sundays at 2:00 p.m. and enjoy some winter fun by snowshoeing, skiing, or sledding! This is
a free program and you can stop in any Sunday at 41388 Hwy #2, in Alma (Ralph & Phyllis
Clark's house). We provide snowshoes, but skiers must bring their own cross country skis. All

♥ After School Cross Country Ski Program: A 10-week program offered by the Western
Region Sport and Recreation Council. Cost is $30 per child or $50 per family. Program will be
on Wednesdays starting January 16th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Program takes place at

TENDER
The Parish Office is accepting Tenders for the 2013 season for grass cutting and trimming of the
cemetery grounds. Deadline is Sunday, January 13th. Please contact the Parish Office for
more details. Submissions can be mailed to P.O. Box 58, Tignish, PE C0B 2B0, faxed to 8822999, or dropped off at the office.

Take Off Pounds Sensibly is a non-profit organization to help you lose weight. Whether you have
10 pounds or 100 pounds to lose, come learn how to lose weight sensibly and have fun doing it!
We meet every Tuesday, with weigh-in from 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. followed by a meeting at
6:00 p.m. at the Tignish Medical Centre. Please enter through the back entrance. Cost is $32 for
the year and $2 every week.
ADULT SKATE
The Tignish Credit Union Arena will be holding an Adult Skate every Wednesday from 1:00 p.m.
to 2:00 p.m. Come out and enjoy some skating!
SOUPER À LA MORUE SALÉE
Le Club des Coeurs joyeux vous invites à un souper de morue salée, qui comprend le bacon,
chow-chow, des légumes, ainsi qu’un dessert, thé ou café le vendredi 18 janvier à partir de
16h30 à 18h30 au Centre acadien de Prince-Ouest, à DeBlois. Le coût est de 12,50 $ (10,00 $
pour les membres). Un repas de remplacement sera offert à ceux qui n'aiment pas le poisson
salé.
SALT FISH SUPPER
Le Club des Coeurs joyeux invite you to come out to a salt fish supper, which includes bacon,
chow-chow, vegetables, along with dessert, tea or coffee on Friday, January 18th from 4:30 p.m.
to 6:30 p.m. at the Centre acadien de Prince-Ouest, in DeBlois. Cost is $12.50 ($10.00 for
members). An alternative meal will be offered to those who do not like salt fish.

TIGNISH SENIORS HOME CARE CO-OP
Important message: Flu season is upon us and we strive to prevent our residents from

Achetez vos billets tôt, vous ne voulez pas manquer cette soirée! Notre levée de fonds du Comité
de parents de l’école Pierre-Chiasson aura lieu le vendredi 8 février (date de tempête le 15
février). Repas à 18h00 (chiard et fricot au poulet) suivi d’un tirage d’élimination à 19h30.
Gros prix de 2 500$!!! 250$ pour le deuxième prix et d’autres prix additionnelle de 30$ sera
donné! Billets sont 30$ pour le tirage et le repas ou 25$ pour le tirage seulement. Les détenteurs
de billets ne sont pas obligés d’être présent pour gagner un prix. Doit être 19 ans ou plus pour
participer. Il y aura aussi du divertissement, un tirage de 50/50, et un service de bar. Un nombre
limité de billets disponibles! Billets en vente au bureau de l’école Pierre-Chiasson ou des
membres du Comité de parents de l’école.

fundraising event will be held on Friday, February 8th (storm date is February15th). Meal starts at
6:00 p.m. (chiard and chicken fricot) followed by the Elimination draw at 7:30 p.m. $2500
top prize!!! $250 second prize and additional $30 prizes to be given away! Tickets are $30 for
draw and meal, or $25 for the draw only. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win a prize.
Must be 19 years of age or older to attend. There will also be entertainment, 50/50 draw, and bar
