Tourist tax in Charente-Maritime
Une taxe de séjour ainsi qu’une taxe départementale
additionnelle à la taxe de séjour ont été mises en place en
Charente-Maritime. Ces taxes permettent aux collectivités
locales de disposer de moyens supplémentaires afin
d’améliorer les conditions d’accueil des touristes, développer
l’offre touristique du territoire et promouvoir la destination.
A tourist tax, as well as a departmental tax added to the tourist
tax, has been set up in the Charente-Maritime department.
These taxes provide local authorities with supplementary funds
to improve conditions for receiving tourists, for developing the
region’s tourism supply and for promoting this destination as a
tourist attraction.
So a tourist tax and an additional tax can be charged by the owner
of the accommodation from a tourist staying in a hotel, in seasonal
rented accommodation, in a bed and breakfast establishment, a
residence, a holiday village or a campsite.
Ainsi, une taxe de séjour et une taxe additionnelle, perçues
par l’hébergeur, peuvent être demandées à un touriste qui
réside dans un hôtel, une location saisonnière, une chambre
d’hôtes, une résidence, un village de vacances ou un terrain
de camping.
