Robert Lefebvre of DuPont Pioneer was
present at the meeting, along with local
representatives, Alan Levac and Trevor
Cunning to present a cheque in the
amount of $5,500 to Champlain Township
as part of their Funding Initiative for Rural
Emergencies (F.I.R.E.). F.I.R.E.is DuPont
Pioneer’s commitment to make sure first
responders are prepared and to increase
awareness of the vital role they play in
communities throughout the country.
Since 2013 F.I.R.E. has helped many
volunteer fire departments and rural
emergency services across Canada
purchase new equipment and provide
training. Fire Chiefs, Michel Martin and
Richard Sincennes were present to accept
the cheque on behalf the Township.
Robert Lefebvre (DuPont Pionneer) était à la
réunion avec les représentants locaux Alan
Levac et Trevor Cunning afin de présenter un
chèque de 5 500 $ au canton de Champlain
dans le cadre de leur initiative de financement
en cas d’urgences rurales (F.I.R.E.). Ce
programme fait en sorte que DuPont Pioneer
s’engage à aider les premiers répondants à
