Pieces Jaunes 2014 Campaign: Lower School Community Service Project The Lower School has participated in this service
project for many years. We will join other children throughout France in
this fundraiser.
Why give?
All coins collected will go to fund various projects for children of all ages and the
elderly in hospitals throughout France.
Pourquoi donner ?
La Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France, présidée par Madame Bernadette CHIRAC, a pour
vocation, depuis sa création en 1989, d'améliorer la qualité de vie des enfants, des adolescents et des
personnes âgées hospitalisés.
Plus de 10 088 projets ont été mis en place dans les hôpitaux français.
Près de 6 700 projets ont été soutenus en faveur des enfants et adolescents, et plus de 3 300 au profit
des personnes âgées, autour de 4 grands thèmes :
• Le rapprochement des familles.
• Le développement des activités.
• L’amélioration de l’accueil et du confort.
• La douleur.
If you would like to make a donation, please send in coins with your child. The
official box for the Piece Jaunes campaign is in the shape of a hospital. The
Lower Student Council will put the boxes in the foyer, library, and LS office.
The student council will bring the boxes to the post office by February 15.
