Dans le cadre des célébrations de la 40
année de l’école, nous allons filmer un « lip dub » pour
tous les étudiants de l’EEB2 le mardi 14 avril de 8.45 à 11.00.
Pour ceux d’entre vous qui ne sont pas familier avec le « lip dub », il s’agit d’un clip vidéo de pop où
les étudiants chantent une chanson ou un mélange de chansons avec l’objectif de les filmer de
manière continue. Les étudiants participeront soit en tant que stars ou acteurs ; soit en performant des
aptitudes différentes ou en participant à des groupes spécifiques. La caméra se déplacera dans
l’école pour filmer ce clip vidéo ; et comme le thème est la célébration des 40 ans, nous travaillons sur
4 clips vidéo qui passent à travers ces temps : Staying Alive (1970) ; Celebration (1980) ; Wannabe
(1990) et It’s Time (Aujourd’hui).
Cela fait plusieurs mois que nous le préparons et donc nous espérons qu’il sera prêt à montrer sur le
grand écran à toute l’école pendant la Footfest.
Comme toute cinématographie, il y aura un peu d’attente mais nous espérons que la durée sera
courte. Nous avons organisé un moment dans le clip vidéo où les parents intéressés par
participer à ce projet peuvent se rejoindre et saluer la caméra- cela aura lieu juste à l’intérieur
des grilles face à la porte d’entrée et je pense qu’il y aura assez de place pour environ 50
personnes. Donc si vous êtes libres le matin du 14 avril 2015, et aimeriez faire de cet
événement une affaire de famille, c’est avec plaisir que nous vous invitons à l’école.
Si beaucoup d’entre vous s’y intéressent, nous l’organiserons de façon « premier arrivé,
premier servi ». Veuillez bien envoyer un message d’inscription à: [email protected]. Nous aurons
une liste d’attente si nécessaire. Uniquement les parents qui se sont inscrits d’avance pourront
participer.
J’espère que quelque uns d’entre vous seront disponibles pour participer à cet événement du mardi
14 avril.

Dear parents,
As part of the 40th year celebration for the school, we are filming a school lip dub for all students of
EEB2 on Tuesday morning 14 April from 8.45 – 11.00.
For those of you unfamiliar with a lip dub, it means making a pop video where the students sing a song or a
medley of songs and the idea is to film it in one continuous shot with students involved either as stars,
actors, performing random skills or taking part in specialised groups.
The camera will be moving around the school to film this video and since our theme is the celebration of 40
years, we are working through 4 clips of songs from across that timeframe: Staying Alive (1970s),
Celebration (1980s), Wannabe (1990s), It’s Time (Modern).
We have been preparing for many months and we hope to have the film ready to show on a big screen to
the whole school population together at the Footfest.
As with all filming days, there will be a little waiting around, but hopefully not too much. We have organised
a place in the video where any parents who are interested in being part of this project can gather
together and wave for a moment as the camera passes – the place will be just inside the school
gates facing the entrance door to the school and I think there will be room for about 50 parents – so
if some parents are free that morning of 14 April 2015 and would like to make this event a family
affair, we would be really happy to welcome you to the school.
If there is a lot of interest, we’ll have to organise this on a first come first served basis. If you are interested

need to. Only parents who registered in advance will be allowed to participate.
Hopefully, some of you will be available to be part of this community event on Tuesday 14 April.
