P r o d u c t s - p l a s t e r s Mur Centenaire Special timber frame Mur Centenaire Mortar for renders Mur Centenaire is a new range of natural hydraulic lime mortars, dedicated to timber frame There are two versions of Mur Centenaire: a grey undercoat and 3 different finishing mortars (23 colors, six of which have been composed with natural sands). Mur Centenaire is applied mechanically. Its composition is studied to absorb movement of supports. Mechanical and physical properties ■ All Mur Centenaire share their properties with the natural hydraulic limes. They get their strength in two times: - An initial and faster set in contact with water - A second set with exposure to the air as lime absorbs CO2 Those two combined and gentle sets reduce the risk of shrinkage and provide Mur Centenaire hanging on metal lath Uses ■ Renders on timber frame 30 kg paper bags Mur Centenaire (Finishing coat) exists in 2 versions: ■ G (grain): 0/2,5 mm ■ S (sand): 0/2,5 to 0/3 mm (depending on colors) Always work between 8° and 30°C and outside frost period RC fabricante n°4D50924 (AXA Corporate Solution Assurance) P r o d u c t s - p l a s t e r s Mortar for renders Advices ■ ■ ■ ■ Stock up with Mur Centenaire in one time to guaranty same color on the work Humidify the wall before the first coat and between both coats (the evening before application of Mur Centenaire) Always remove excess mortar at the bottom of the wall Always take care of excessive weather conditions (rain and sun) and protect walls Qualities ■ ■ ■ ■ It has a low elasticity modulus. It allows buildings to "breathe", and does not trap moisture in the walls Mur Centenaire re-absorbs the carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted by the calcination (firing) of the lime, thus partially offsetting the large amount emitted during its manufacture Easy spraying Contraindication ■ ■ ■ Don’t make any reinforced concrete with Mur Centenaire Don’t add any additive or admixture Don’t apply on following supports: gypsum, old walls with salt (use Rinzaffo and Veneziano anti-salt) Mur Centenaire Mur Centenaire Special timber frame
