Pay Grade APT 4 Position Summary Le Centre canadien de recherche sur les francophonies en milieu minoritaire (CRFM) de La Cité universitaire francophone est un pôle de recherche innovatrice sur l'expérience des communautés francophones et les enjeux des minorités. Il stimule, dirige et collabore à des projets de recherche dans plusieurs disciplines ayant trait à la communauté fransaskoise ainsi qu'aux autres communautés francophones minoritaires au Canada. Le CRFM favorise également la recherche comparative impliquant d'autres communautés culturelles en milieu minoritaire. It stimulates, leads, and participates in research in multiple disciplines examining the Fransaskois community as well as other francophone communities in minority situations. The CRFM also fosters comparative research involving other cultural minorities. To carry out its research programs, the CRFM assembles the best researchers from across the country and abroad and encourages the participation of the communities concerned. Responsibilities: - Plan and coordinate research projects, conferences and workshops and ensure administrative support; - Prepare the budget and carry out the administration of the CRFM; - Prepare reports and funding applications; - Coordinate the CRFM's annual research grant competition; - Coordinate all committees, research teams and advisory groups related to the CRFM - Supervise student assistants - Manage the Conférences de La Cité; - Develop a national network of academic and community-based researchers; - Ensure the dissemination of CRFM activities; - Recommend research initiatives in accordance with the strategic aims of the CRFM and the needs of the Fransaskois community; - Collect, analyse and organize data; - Assist the Director of the CRFM in CRFM-related duties; - Perform related tasks as needed.
