q u a r t z i t e of t h e Nount Nelson Formation, i n t r u d e d by a s m a l l
dyke o r s i l l o f g r a n i t e porphyry. The m i n e r a l i z a t i o n o c c u r s
i n one o r more q u a r t z v e i n s i n a r g i l l i t e . Where exposed i n
an open c u t t h e v e i n s t r i k e s n o r t h e a s t e r l y , d i p s s t e e p west
and h a s an average w i d t h of about a f o o t . The v e i n i s
m i n e r a l i z e d w i t h s p h a l e r i t e , g a l e n a , c h a l c o p y r i t e and a t i n
m i n e r a l which i s probably s t a n n i t e . S i l v e r and a t r a c e of
g o l d a r e p r e s e n t . A p a r t i a l a n a l y s i s by Mines Branch,
