NOT--AUS-Taster oder Zustimmungstaster, angeschlossen. 27 V Steuerspannung +27 V 0V 36 18 27 V Steuerspannung Option. The state of all safety--relevant inputs and outputs is continuously monitored in dual--channel technology. The ESC consists of at least two modules. These modules are connected to each other via bus and power supply lines (24 V, 0 V). This communication is continuously monitored. In the event of a fault or interruption in the safety circuit or failure of the power supply, each node sets its outputs to a safe state. The ESC switches off the power supply to the drive units, causing the axis drives to stop. Safety--related operator control elements, such as EMERGENCY STOP pushbuttons and enabling switches, are connected to the node periphery. The node periphery is designed in such a way that component malfunctions are detected and the ESC is set to a safe state. 1.8.1 ESC--CI board with passive node The node sends the state of the following operator control elements to the ESC: -- EMERGENCY STOP pushbutton -- Enabling switches -- Enable Drives -- Activate Drives -- Operating mode AUTO/TEST 1.8.2 MFC2 card with passive node The multi--function card forms the interface between the KCP and PC. The card is designed as a PC plug--in card and serves as a motherboard for up to two DSE--IBS modules. On the MFC2 card is a passive node which receives information from the ESC and passes it on to the controller. 1.8.3 KCP with active node The node built into the KCP teach pendant initializes the ESC after the supply voltage has been switched on. The node receives the following signals from the ESC: -- EMERGENCY STOP pushbutton -- Enabling switches -- Enable Drives -- Activate drives -- Operating mode AUTO/TEST The ESC will only function with the KCP connected. If the KCP is unplugged during operation, all drives are immediately switched off. 1.8.4 KPS 600 with active node The node built into the KPS 600 power supply receives the following signal from the ESC: -- Enable Drives If this signal is absent, all drives are switched off by the drives contactor.
