Movement Assembly
Assembler le mouvement
1 – Die Uhrwerk-Garnitur vorsichtig auspacken.
2 – Die Zeichnung für Rückwandausschnitt und Bohrbild – genau
zum Türausschnitt passend – auf die Innenseite der Uhrgehäuserückwand legen. Bitte die 12Uhr-Position beachten.
3 – Die drei Pfeilerbohrungen auf der Gehäuserückwand anzeichnen
und mit Ø ca. 5 mm bohren. Den Ausschnitt für den Batteriewechsel
und die Bedienung des Schlagabstellschalters anzeichnen und
ausarbeiten.
4 – Für optimalen Klang, ein Schall-Loch mit Ø max. 55 mm in eine
Gehäuseseite, den Gehäusedeckel oder die Gehäuserückwand einarbeiten. Die Lage des Lochs so wählen, dass sich Lautsprecher
und Uhrwerk im montierten Zustand nicht berühren.
5 – Das Schall-Loch von innen mit einem dünnen Stoff abdecken.
6 – Den Lautsprecher mit Haltering nach Skizze mit den beiliegenden
Schrauben Ø 2,9 x 9,5 mm montieren. Bei einer Wandstärke von
weniger als 7 mm, bitte entsprechend kürzere Schräubchen verwenden.
7 – Das Uhrwerk an der Gehäuserückwand befestigen. Dabei muss
pro Pfeiler je eine Unterlegscheibe sowohl auf der Innen- als auch
der Außenseite der Gehäuserückwand liegen. Die Sechskantmuttern
auf die Pfeilerenden schrauben und festziehen.
8 – Zwei 1,5V-Alkali-Manganzellen (IEC Nr. LR 14) seitenrichtig
in die Batteriefächer des Uhrwerks einsetzen (siehe Symbolik
neben dem Batteriefach).
1 – Carefully unpack the movement.
2 – Place the diagram for the back panel cut-out and drilling pattern,
aligned with the door opening, on the inside of the clock case back
panel. Please note the 12 o’clock position.
3 – Mark the three movement stud holes on the back panel and
cut them to a diam. of approx. 5 mm. Mark and cut out the slot for
changing the battery and operating the chime selector switch.
4 – For optimum sound, cut a hole with a max. diam. of 55 mm
into the clock case side. Choose the position of the hole so that
the loudspeaker does not interfere with the movement.
5 – Cover the hole from the inside with a thin cloth material.
6 – Mount the loudspeaker with the support ring and screws of
diam. 2.9 x 9.5 mm. If the wall thickness is less than 7 mm, please
use shorter screws.
7 – Fasten the movement to the case back panel. For each stud,
one washer must be fitted on both the inside and the outside of
the case back panel. Screw the hex nuts onto the stud ends and
tighten them.
8 – Insert two 1.5V Size C alkaline batteries into the movement’s
battery boxes (symbols next to the battery boxes).
9 – Set the chime melody selector switch on the reverse side of
the movement into the desired position.
1 – Déballer le mouvement avec précaution.
2 – Poser le schéma pour la position de l’ouverture de la paroi arrière
et celle des trous – coïncide avec l’ouverture de la porte – sur la face
interne de la paroi arrière du boîtier. Attention à la position du « 12 » !
3 – Relever la position pour les 3 trous sur la paroi arrière du boîtier,
puis percer des trous d’un Ø de 5 mm. Relever l’emplacement
pour la pile et celui pour le levier d’arrêt de sonnerie, puis faire les
découpes nécessaires.
4 – Pour obtenir une sonorité optimale, faire un trou d’un Ø maximal
de 55 mm soit dans une des parois latérales soit dans le couvercle
ou dans la paroi arrière du boîtier. Placer le trou de sorte que le hautparleur et le mouvement ne peuvent pas se toucher.
5 – Recouvrir le trou de sonorité (de l’intérieur) avec un tissu fin.
6 – Assembler (voir schéma) le haut-parleur et l’anneau avec les
vis jointes Ø 2,9 x 9,5 mm. Pour une paroi arrière de moins de 7 mm
d’épaisseur, utiliser des vis plus courtes.
7 – Fixer le mouvement à la paroi arrière du boîtier. Mettre une
rondelle pour chaque pilier – à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur du
boîtier. Visser les écrous hexagonaux sur les extrémités des piliers,
puis serrer.
8 – Insérer deux piles alcali-manganèse 1,5 V (IEC No LR 14)
dans les compartiments à pile en faisant attention à la position des
pôles.
Das Uhrwerk einstellen
1 – Die genaue Tageszeit durch Vor- oder Rückwärtsdrehen des
Minutenzeigers einstellen.
BITTE BEACHTEN:
Die Viertel-, Halb- und Dreiviertelschläge werden durch ein elektronisches Zählwerk, abhängig vom letzten Stundenschlag, ausgelöst.
Beim manuellen Weiterdrehen der Zeiger ertönen diese Schläge nicht!
2 – Sowohl beim Batteriewechsel als auch bei der Umstellung auf
Sommer- bzw. Winterzeit, stellt sich die richtige Schlagfolge durch
die automatische Synchronisierung zur nächsten vollen Stunde
wieder ein.
Das Pendel
1 – Den Pendelbügel durch leichten Druck zur Mitte aus seiner
seitlichen Arretierung lösen.
2 – Das vorgesehene Pendel am Pendelbügel einhängen und
ca. 3 cm seitlich auslenken, um die Pendelbewegung zu starten.
3 – Der Pendelantrieb hat keinerlei Einfluss auf die Ganggenauigkeit
des quarzgesteuerten Uhrwerks.

Setting the Movement
1 – Set the exact time by turning the minute hand in either direction.
PLEASE NOTE: The quarter, half and three-quarter hour chimes
are governed by an electronic counter, dependent on the last fullhour chime. These chimes cannot be manually released.
2 – When changing the battery and when setting winter and summer
time, the correct chime sequence will be achieved by automatic
synchronisation on the next full hour.
The Pendulum
1 – Release the pendulum leader from its side lock by lightly pushing
it towards the centre.
2 – Hook the pendulum to the pendulum leader and tap it lightly to
start the pendulum movement.
3 – The pendulum is independently driven and has no influence
over the timekeeping accuracy of the movement.
Régler le mouvement
1 – Régler l’heure en avançant ou en reculant l’aiguille des minutes.
ATTENTION :
Les sonneries des quarts, des demi-heures et des trois quarts
sont déclenchées par un compteur électronique dépendant de la
sonnerie précédente. Lors d’un avancement manuel des aiguilles,
aucune sonnerie ne retentit !
3 – Après avoir changé la pile ou lors du changement de l’heure
été/hiver, la séquence de sonnerie sera automatiquement réglée
par rapport la l’heure pleine qui suit.
Le balancier
1 – Libérer l’étrier en exerçant une légère pression sur ce dernier.
2 – Accrocher le balancier à l’étrier, puis osciller environ 3 cm pour
mettre le mouvement en marche.
3 – Le balancier n’influence aucunement la précision de marche du
mouvement à quartz.
