Its location puts this Caribbean luxury villa in a class of its own.
It is well placed for interesting sight-seeing in St Barths, for
shopping, for wine-and-dine outings, for visiting the beautiful
beaches. From the villa guests can enjoy the picturesque view
of the yachts in the harbour in daytime, the sun setting in a
glow of colours over the sea in die west, the romantic lights of
Gustavia at night. With its ideal blend of views and convenience
and comfort, the private villa for rent is the perfect place for a
tropical holiday for a family or group of friends.
The island style construction and decorations include plaster walls and oil paintings of
Cuban street scenes, striking contrasts between black finishes and white furnishings,
and interesting inter-play between sunlight and shade. The open-plan living area
opens directly onto the terrace and the outdoor dining area and the pool. The adjacent
kitchen is well-equipped with a lot of Corian countertop space and a breakfast bar that
looks out over the Caribbean sea. Facing west, the terrace provides cool shade during
the day and mellow light in the late afternoon.
The master bedroom offers a king platform bed on a basis of cool pebbles and a
Caribbean ocean view, an en suite bathroom with dual vanities and a rain-head
shower, as well as lots of cupboard space. The second bedroom is in a separate
bungalow near the pool, with a partly private deck and a view over the sea and the
garden. The third bedroom has its own private entrance, typical West Indies louvered
doors, an outdoor shower, and a bright colour scheme. The fourth bedroom also has a
private entrance directly from the driveway, and it offers a view over the garden as well
as a HDTV with French satellite channels.
The terrace is multi-levelled and consists of stone tiles on the upper level and
