Facilitator for Harvesting Adaptation Outcomes of Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (PHAO-CCAFS) project Vacancy #: Unit: Organization: Location: Reporting to: Work percentage: Function group: Expected start date: Type of contract: Closing date: 518 Country Programme Secretariat International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Burkina Faso Programme Office, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso Chef de Programme Bureau National 100% P1 01 April 2013 Fixed-term (12 months) 14 March 2013 BACKGROUND L’UICN a entrepris en 2012, avec l’appui du programme « changement et Sécurité alimentaire –CCAFS », un processus de renforcement des capacités d’une quarantaine de chercheurs pour la planification et le suivi-évaluation des capacités d’adaptation des systèmes nationaux de recherche du Burkina Faso, du Ghana, du Mali, du Sénégal et du Niger. La trousse à outil pour la planification et le suivi-évaluation des capacités d’adaptation au changement climatique (TOP-SECACC) a été utilisée dans ce processus. Le facilitateur sera chargé de la mise en œuvre du projet PHAO-CCAFS qui est une consolidation de ce processus avec pour objectif principal de faciliter l’identification, formuler, vérifier et valoriser les changements de comportement par les différents partenaires (chercheurs, partenaires techniques et financiers, gestionnaires de projets) relatifs au changement climatique, à l’agriculture et la sécurité alimentaire.
