PAYMENTS NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER JULY 23, 2012. Registration All registrations must be done with your local conference Women’s Ministries Director. Only registrations with full payment will be processed. Workshops Workshops will be conducted on Friday and Sabbath. Three sessions will be on Friday and one on Sabbath. Sessions with the same name are a repeat. Please choose ONE workshop per session. This means you will be attending four workshops in total. If the workshop you choose is full, we will place you into another. Space is at a premium, so register early! Accommodation Your accommodation is your responsibility. However, we have temporarily booked rooms at a special rate in the Ibis and Mecure Hotel–the venue for the Conference. Details of the venue and process for booking will be given to you once you have registered with your local conference Women’s Ministries Director. Friday Session 1: 9:15am - 10:30am Discipling Children with Julie Weslake, Children’s Ministries Director, SPD Children matter to God! Julie will discuss the research that tells us what children need and give you skills and ideas that will equip you to be effective for this most strategic age-group. Friendship Evangelism with Heather-Dawn Small, Women’s Ministries Director, GC A workshop on friendship that will be encouraging, inspiring, practical and fun! Empowering Adolescents as Disciples with Nick Kross, Youth Ministries Director, SPD Many young people feel alone and under pressure in our postmodern world. In the midst of these stresses the church is one place where youth should find the guidance and love they need. Spiritual Gifts with Gil Valentine, La Sierra University, USA This class will look at the scriptural references, how these are gender inclusive, how one develops her own Spiritual Gifts, and how to nurture them in other women. Impacting Our Families with Trafford Fischer, Family Ministries Director, SPD Our families shape our communities, and our communities form our states, and our nation. The health of our country depends on the health of our families.
