Achten Sie auf korrekten Anschluss! Auf den beiden Steckern des Empfängers sind
kleine Abbildungen einer Maus bzw. einer Tastatur. Verbinden Sie den Stecker mit
der Tastaturabbildung mit der PS/2-Tastaturbuchse Ihres PCs. Anschließend verbinden Sie den Stecker mit der Mausabbildung mit der PS/2-Mausbuchse Ihres PCs.
Verbinden Sie den PC mit der Netzspannung und schalten Sie ihn ein.

Zum Betrieb unter Windows sind keine Treiber nötig, die Tastatur und die Maus werden normalerweise automatisch erkannt.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Für den Einsatz der Multimediatasten auf der Tastatur und für die Belegung der Maustasten
mit Sonderfunktionen ist jedoch die Installation der mitgelieferten Software erforderlich.
Der Empfänger ist zum Anschluss an einen IBM-kompatiblen PC mit PS/2-Tastatur-/Mausschnittstelle vorgesehen. Die mitgelieferte Funktastatur und Funkmaus dient zur
Bedienung Ihres Betriebssystems.

Batterien einsetzen
Unter einer Abdeckung auf der Unterseite der Funkmaus finden Sie das Batteriefach. Legen
Sie die zwei mitgelieferten Batterien vom Typ "AAA" ein.
Achten Sie auf die korrekte Polung beim Einsetzen der Batterien; im Batteriefach der
Funkmaus ist die Polarität angegeben.
Legen Sie dann die beiden Batterien vom Typ "AA" in das Batteriefach auf der Unterseite der
Tastatur ein, achten Sie auch hier auf die korrekte Polarität.
Wenn Sie feststellen, dass die Funkmaus bzw. die Funktastatur nicht mehr korrekt reagiert,
oder z.B. nur noch bei geringer Entfernung zum Funkempfänger funktioniert, so tauschen Sie
die Batterien gegen neue aus.
Umwelt-Hinweis!
Der Endverbraucher ist gesetzlich (Altbatterie-Verordnung) zur Rückgabe
aller gebrauchten Batterien und Akkus verpflichtet, eine Entsorgung über den
Hausmüll ist untersagt!
Starten Sie das Programm "Setup.exe" der Diskette, falls Sie diese Funktionen nutzen wollen;
folgen Sie allen Anweisungen.
Danach ist ein Neustart von Windows erforderlich.
Beim ersten Start der Software erscheint eine Meldung, nach der Sie einen unterschiedlichen
"Verbindungs-ID" wählen können. Beachten Sie die Anweisungen. Falls Sie keine andere
Funkmaus im Umkreis betreiben, können Sie auf "Verlassen" klicken.

Radio Cordless Keyboard/Mouse
with PS/2 Connection
Intended Use
However, the delivered software must be installed for using the multimedia keys on the keyboard of for assigning special functions to the mouse keys .
The receiver is intended for connection to an IBM-compatible PC with a PS/2 keyboard/mouse port. The delivered radio cordless keyboard and radio cordless mouse are used for navigating in your operating system.
Scope of delivery

der Netzspannung zu trennen.
Features
• Hatten Sie bisher nur eine RS232-Maus an Ihrem PC, so muss bei älteren PCs evtl. vor der
Inbetriebnahme im BIOS/Setup des PCs die PS/2-Maus-Schnittstelle eingeschaltet/aktiviert
werden.
• Die Reichweite der Funktastatur und Funkmaus ist abhängig von mehreren Faktoren:
- Batteriezustand
- Anordnung von Empfänger/Maus/Tastatur
- Abschirmende Gegenstände (PC-Gehäuse, Tischplatte usw.)
- Andere Geräte auf dem gleichen Frequenzband
• Falls der Mauszeiger nicht reagiert, Tasteneingaben nicht erkannt werden, die Batterien
jedoch nicht leer sind, so versuchen Sie, einen anderen Kanal zu wählen.
Zur Übertragung können bei der Maus zusätzlich je bis zu 255 verschiedene "ID-Codes" eingestellt werden. Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor:
- Tastenkombination "SHIFT+ALT+F11" oder "SHIFT+ALT+F12" drücken
- Bewegen Sie die Maus für ein paar Sekunden
- Klicken Sie auf "Connect ID"
To install drivers
No drivers are required for operation under Windows; as a rule, the keyboard and the mouse
are detected automatically.
Tipps und Hinweise
• Wenn Ihr PC mehrere PS/2-Schnittstellen hat, so beachten Sie das Handbuch zu Ihrem PC
bzw. zu dem Motherboard, welche der PS/2-Schnittstellen für eine Tastatur bzw. Maus
geeignet ist.

Über Icons in der Menüleiste können Sie nun die Funktionen der Tastatur und der Maus einstellen.

Be aware of the correct connection! A mouse / keyboard symbol is indicated on the
two plugs of the receiver. Insert the plug with the keyboard symbol into the PS/2
keyboard socket of your PC. Next, insert the plug with the mouse symbol into the
PS/2 mouse socket of your PC.
Start the "Setup.exe” programme on the floppy disk, if you want to use these functions; follow
all instructions.
Windows must be restarted afterwards.
During the initial software start, a message informs you that you may select a different
"Connection ID”. Take heed of the instructions. Click "Exit” unless any other radio cordless
mouse is operated in the near environment.
Now, you can set the keyboard and mouse functions by means of icons provided in the menu
bar.
Hints and notes
• Before connecting/disconnecting PS/2 units to/from the PC, switch OFF your PC and disconnect it from the mains supply.
• Receiver connectable to the PS/2 port;
LEDs for num lock, scroll lock & caps lock on the receiver
• Radio transmission, 27MHz technology
• Scroll wheel available on the mouse
• Keyboard equipped with numerous multimedia keys (the delivered software must be installed
before operation)
• If several PS/2 ports are available on your PC, follow the instructions provided in the manual of your PC or of your motherboard. These manuals indicate which PS/2 ports must be used
for the keyboard or the mouse.
To insert the batteries
• The effective radius of the radio cordless keyboard and of the radio cordless mouse is determined by several factors:
- Battery condition
- Receiver/mouse/keyboard arrangement
- Shielding objects (PC housing, tabletop, etc.)
- Other devices using the same frequency band
The battery compartment is located under a cover on the bottom side of the radio cordless
mouse. Insert the two delivered batteries of the type "AAA”.
Be aware of the "+” and "-" polarity when inserting the batteries; the correct polarity is indicated in the battery compartment of the radio cordless mouse.
Next, insert the two type "AA” batteries into the battery compartment on the bottom side of the
keyboard; be aware of the "+” and "-" polarity.
If the radio cordless mouse or the radio cordless keyboard don’t react correctly any more, or
if they react only at a short distance to the radio receiver, please exchange the batteries for
new ones.
• If you have used an RS232 mouse with your PC before, it might be necessary for older PCs to
switch ON/activate the PS/2 mouse port prior to commissioning in the BIOS/setup of the PC.
• If the mouse pointer does not react or if keyboard inputs are not recognised, although the
batteries are not empty, please try to select another channel.
Up to 255 different "ID codes” each can be set for transmission from/to the mouse. Proceed
as follows:
- Press simultaneously the "SHIFT+ALT+F11” keys or the "SHIFT+ALT+F12” keys.
- Move the mouse for a few seconds.
- Click "Connect ID”.
Note regarding environmental protection!
• Auch bei der Funktastatur sind verschiedene "ID-Codes" bei der Übertragung möglich:
- Drücken Sie die "Connect"-Taste auf dem Empfänger, die Connect-LED erlischt
- Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste der Tastatur
- Drücken Sie die "Connect"-Taste auf dem Empfänger, die LED leuchtet wieder
The ultimate customer is legally obliged (according to the Regulation on
Spent Batteries) to return all used batteries and accumulators. Disposal in the
household waste is prohibited!
• For transmission from/to the radio cordless keyboard as well, different "ID codes” can be
used.
- Press the "Connect” key on the receiver; the Connect LED goes out
- Actuate any key on the keyboard.
- Press the "Connect” key on the receiver; the Connect LED lights up again
Spent batteries and accumulators may be returned to our subsidiaries or to
our central headquarters in Hirschau. They may also be taken to municipal
disposal points (collecting points for recycling material) which are obliged to
dispose of these articles.
Ihre verbrauchten Batterien und Akkus können Sie sowohl in unseren
Niederlassungen bzw. an unsere Zentrale in Hirschau zurückgeben, als wie
bisher auch zu kommunalen Entsorgern (Wertstoffhöfe), die zur Rücknahme
verpflichtet sind.

Keep batteries and accumulators out of the reach of children, i.e. at a place
inaccessible to children. Swallowing of batteries, accumulators or round cells
is DANGEROUS TO LIFE! In such a case, immediately call a doctor or go to
hospital!
Lassen Sie Batterien und Akkus nicht in der Nähe von Kindern herumliegen,
bewahren Sie sie an einem für Kinder unzugänglichen Ort auf. Durch

To set the channel to the keyboard, mouse and receiver
Kanal auf Tastatur, Maus und Empfänger einstellen
Für die Funkübertragung können auf Tastatur, Maus und Empfänger je zwei Kanäle gewählt
werden. Bei der Maus befindet sich der Schalter für die Kanalwahl im Batteriefach, bei der
Tastatur auf der Unterseite.
Die Einstellung auf Empfänger & Tastatur und Empfänger & Maus muss immer übereinstimmen; ob Tastatur und Maus den gleichen Kanal verwenden, ist jedoch belanglos.
Two radio transmission channels each can be selected for the keyboard, the mouse and the
receiver. The channel selection switch of the mouse is located in the battery compartment,
whereas the channel selection switch of the keyboard is located on its the bottom side.
The setting of the receiver to the keyboard and the setting of the receiver to the mouse must
always match; however, it is not necessary that the keyboard and the mouse use the same
channel.
Anschluss des Empfängers an den PC
To connect the receiver to the PC
Schalten Sie den PC aus und trennen Sie ihn von der Netzspannung, ziehen Sie
den Netzstecker! Gleiches gilt, wenn Sie den Empfänger abstecken wollen.
Ansonsten wird der Empfänger und der PC beschädigt.
Verbinden Sie den Empfänger über die beiden PS/2-Stecker mit den entsprechenden PS/2Schnittstellen Ihres PCs.

Switch OFF the PC and disconnect it from the mains supply; withdraw the
mains plug! Proceed in the same way to disconnect the receiver. Otherwise,
the receiver and the PC are damaged.
Connect the receiver to the corresponding PS/2 ports of your PC by means of the two PS/2
plugs.

Clavier et souris radio PS/2

Veillez à ne pas inverses les connecteurs ! Une petite figure représentant une souris, respectivement un clavier, est imprimée en relief sur chaque connecteur.
Branchez le connecteur portant la figure du clavier sur le port PS/2 du clavier de
votre PC. Branchez ensuite le connecteur portant la figure de la souris sur le port
PS/2 du clavier de votre PC.
Branchez le PC sur la prise secteur puis allumez-le.

Installation des pilotes
Utilisation conforme
Pour le fonctionnement sous Windows, aucun pilote n’est requis. Normalement, le clavier et la
souris sont détectés automatiquement.
Ce produit a été conçu afin d’être branché sur un PC compatible IBM équipé d’une interface clavier/souris PS/2. Le clavier et la souris radio livrés permettent de commander votre système
d’exploitation.

Caractéristiques
• Le récepteur se branche sur l’interface PS/2 ;
DELs pour le verrouillage numérique (Num Lock), l’arrêt du défilement (Scroll Lock) et le verrouillage des majuscules (Caps Lock) sur le récepteur
• Radiotransmission, technique 27 MHz
• Souris équipée d’une molette
• De nombreuses touches multimédias sur le clavier (pour le fonctionnement, l’installation du
logiciel fourni est indispensable)
Insertion des piles
Le logement des piles se situe sous le couvercle sur le dessous de la souris radio. Insérez les
deux piles fournies du type « AAA ».
Veillez à insérer les piles dans le bon sens ; la polarité est indiquée dans le logement des piles
de la souris radio.
Insérez ensuite les deux piles du type « AA » dans le logement des piles situé sur le dessous
du clavier. Respectez, ici aussi, la polarité.
Lorsque vous constatez que la souris radio, respectivement le clavier radio, ne réagit pas plus
correctement ou ne fonctionne plus qu’à faible distance du récepteur radio, par ex., remplacez les piles.
Remarque relative à la protection de l’environnement !
Les dispositions légales imposent aux consommateurs la restitution de toutes les piles usées. Il est interdit de les jeter à la poubelle !
Vous pouvez retourner gratuitement vos piles et accumulateurs usés à nos
succursales, respectivement à notre centrale de Hirschau ou, comme par le
passé, les déposer dans les centres de collecte communaux qui sont tenus de
vous les reprendre.
Pour l’utilisation des touches multimédias sur le clavier ainsi que pour l’occupation des touches de la souris avec les fonctions spéciales, il est cependant indispensable d’installer le logiciel fourni.
Dans la mesure où vous souhaitez utiliser ces fonctions, lancez le programme « Setup.exe »
depuis la disquette et suivez les instructions.
Ensuite, redémarrez Windows.
Lors du premier démarrage du logiciel, un message permettant de sélectionner une autre « ID
de connexion » s’affiche. Suivez les instructions. Dans la mesure où vous n’utilisez aucune
autre souris radio à proximité, vous pouvez cliquer sur « Annuler ».
Les icônes dans la barre de menu vous permettent désormais de régler les fonctions du clavier et de la souris.
Conseils et indications
• Avant de brancher ou de débrancher les appareils PS/2 sur le PC, le PC doit être éteint puis
débranché de la prise de courant.
• Dans la mesure où votre PC est équipé de plusieurs interfaces PS/2, consultez le manuel de
votre PC, respectivement celui de votre carte mère, afin de savoir quelle interface PS/2 convient pour le clavier, respectivement pour la souris.
• Dans la mesure où vous n’aviez, par le passé, qu’une souris RS 232 sur votre PC, avant la
mise en service, il sera éventuellement nécessaire de mettre en circuit/d’activer l’interface
PS/2 pour la souris dans la configuration du BIOS du PC.
• La portée du clavier et de la souris radio dépend de plusieurs facteurs :
- état des piles
- disposition du récepteur/de la souris/du clavier
- objets sources de parasites (tour PC, table, etc.)
- autres appareils sur la même plage de fréquence
• Lorsque le pointeur de la souris ne réagit pas et que les saisies sur le clavier ne sont pas
détectées bien que les piles ne soient pas vides, essayez de sélectionner un autre canal.
Avec la souris, il est possible de régler 255 différents « codes ID » supplémentaires pour la
transmission. Pour ce faire, procédez comme suit :
- enfoncez la combinaison de touches « SHIFT + ALT + F11 » ou « SHIFT + ALT + F12 »
- déplacez la souris pendant quelques secondes
- cliquez sur « ID de connexion »
• Avec le clavier radio, différents « codes ID » sont également disponibles pour la transmission :
- appuyez sur la touche « Connect » située sur le récepteur, la DEL « Connect » s’éteint
- appuyez sur une touche quelconque du clavier.
- appuyez sur la touche « Connect » située sur le récepteur, la DEL se rallume
Contribuez, vous aussi, à la protection de l’environnement !
Ne laissez pas traîner les piles et les accumulateurs à proximité d’enfants, conservez les à un emplacement inaccessible pour les enfants. En cas d’ingestion
de piles, d’accumulateurs ou de piles boutons, il y a DANGER DE MORT ! En pareil cas, consultez immédiatement un médecin ou allez dans un hôpital !
Réglage du clavier, de la souris et du récepteur
Pour la radiotransmission, deux canaux peuvent être sélectionnés pour chaque périphérique
(clavier, souris et récepteur). L’interrupteur de sélection des canaux de la souris se situe dans
le logement des piles, celui du clavier, sur le dessous.
Le réglage sur le récepteur et le clavier ainsi celui sur le récepteur et la souris doivent toujours
concorder ; le fait que le clavier et la souris utilisent le même canal n’a aucune importance.
Branchement du récepteur sur le PC
Eteignez puis débranchez le PC du secteur avant de retirer la fiche de la prise
de courant ! Cela vaut de même lorsque vous souhaitez débrancher le récepteur. Le cas contraire, le récepteur et le PC risquent d’être endommagés.
Branchez le récepteur sur l’interface PS/2 adéquate de votre PC au moyen des deux connecteurs PS/2.
