BUSINESS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS
3.1
Comité de condition physique / Fitness committee
Le chef pompier a demandé s’il y a de l’intérêt des pompiers pour
participer dans un comité de condition physique. Le chef de caserne de
Limoges a demandé pour de la clarification en ce qui concerne l’objectif
du comité et les tâches des membres. Le chef va fournir cette information
à tous les chefs de casernes.
The Fire Chief asked if there was any interest shown from the firefighters
in being part of the fitness committee. The Limoges Station Chief asked
for clarification on what will be the goal of the committee and what will be
the tasks of the members. The Chief will provide this information to each
of the Station Chiefs.
3.2
Conférence OAFC Conference
Le chef pompier a avisé le comité qu’il y a des passes disponibles pour
ceux qui désirent assister à la « Ontario Fire chief Convention (OAFC)
Tradeshow 2016 ».
The Fire Chief informed the committee that there are passes available for
those who wish to attend the 2016 Ontario Fire Chief Convention (OAFC)
tradeshow.

Première Ressource / Resource One
Le chef pompier a demandé pour une mise à jour sur le programme
IFSTA-Resource One à chaque caserne et a demandé comment les
formations vont. La plupart des casernes ont dit qu’ils ont fini la section
théorique en ligne et qu’ils vont commencer à accomplir les formations
pratiques.
The Fire Chief asked for an update on where each of the stations are at
with the IFSTA-Resource one program and how the sign-offs are going.
Most stations reported that they are done the online theory sections and
are planning to start completing the practicums.

SUJETS DE DISCUSSION / DISCUSSION SUBJETCS
5.1
Communications-Radios
Le chef pompier a dit qu’il y a eu un mouvement positif dans le plan pour
remplacer le système de communication à Prescott-Russell. Il a informé le
comité qu’il présentera au Conseil une recommandation à se joindre le
Consortium dans une étude d’un nouveau système par M. Gamble de
Willow Falls Consulting.
The Fire Chief informed the committee that there is positive movement in
the plan to replace the Communication system in Prescott-Russell and
that he will be bringing a recommendation to Council to join the
Consortium in a study of a new system by Mr. Gamble of Willow Falls
Consulting.
5.2
Entente avec Casselman Agreement
Le Conseiller Laflèche a avisé le comité qu’ils ont réussi à établir une
entente entre La Nation et le village de Casselman pour les services
d’incendies et que les détails seront décidés à une date antérieure.
Councillor Laflèche informed the committee that there has been success
in finding an agreement between The Nation and Village of Casselman for
a Fire Coverage Agreement and that the fine details of the agreement are
all that is left to discuss.
5.3
Dice Run – Denis Renaud
Le Conseiller Legault a avisé le comité que les organisateurs du Dice-Run
– journée Denis Renaud demandent que le Service d’incendie de La
Nation participe dans quelques activités. Le chef pompier appuie cette
idée, à condition que le Conseil de La Nation appuie cet événement.
Councillor Legault informed the committee that the organizers of the Dice
Run- Denis Renaud day are looking for The Nation Fire Department to
take part in a few fun activities. The Fire Chief supports the idea as long
as The Nation Council are also behind this event.
5.4
Poker Run – St-Bernardin
Le chef de caserne de St-Bernardin a avisé le comité que le deuxième
Poker Run annuel aura lieu le 25 juin, débutant du centre communautaire
de St-Bernardin.
The St-Bernardin Station Chief informed the committee that the second
annual Poker Run will be held on June 25th, starting at the St-Bernardin
Municipal Hall.
5.5
Frontières / Boundaries
Le chef de caserne de Limoges a demandé si les frontières actuelles
seront conservées pour la deuxième réponse, étant donné qu’ils ont
résolu de nombreux problèmes en suspens du passé, lorsque le village de
Casselman sera de retour à la couverture du secteur 13-B. Le chef a dit
que les nouvelles frontières demeureront comme tells pour le moment.
The Limoges Station Chief asked if the current boundaries will be kept for
the second response, being that they have solved many outstanding
issues from the past, when the village of Casselman will return to covering
zone 13-B. The Chief said that the new boundaries will stay as they stand
at this time.
5.6
Formation CISM Training
Le chef pompier a avisé le comité qu’il a été avec les chefs de caserne au
Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) à Kempville. Ainsi, ils sont
maintenant en mesure de mieux aider avec tous les incidents ou
problèmes qui peuvent survenir au sein du Service d’incendie ou encore
avec le personnel de la municipalité de La Nation.
The Fire Chief informed the committee that he and the St-Isidore Stations
Chief attended a Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) in
Kemptville and are now able to better assist with any incidents or issues
that may arise within the Fire Department or also with the staff of The
Nation Municipality.

ENTRAINEMENT / TRAINING
6.1
Formation de tronçonneuse / Chainsaw Training
Le chef pompier a avisé le comité qu’il y a encore de la place d’ouverte
pour la formation de tronçonneuse et que le chef de caserne de StIsidore y sera le superviseur.
The Fire Chief informed the committee that the Chainsaw training still has
a few spots to fill and that the St-Isidore Station Chief will be overseeing
the event.
