SOCAPS INFO N°15 – 2nd SEMESTER 2016
The SOCAPS Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, near
Rouen. The AGM unanimously gave discharge of the management of the company
to the Board of Directors.
It was decided that next years AGM will also be held in Rouen due to the facilities.
The activity significantly increased in 2015 (+26%), particularly driven by our export
sales (US & Asia). In France, the growth remains stable (+9%) thanks to the opening
of several new customer accounts.

SOCAPS is pleased to announce the arrival of Richard WOOLF as
Health Safety &Security Officer.A British national, Richard arrived
in France in 2012 and is since perfectly bilingual and he worked
for Ciments Français as an Internal Auditor before joining us.
“As HS&S Officer, my priority is to ensure the safety and security of our technicians
wherever they are in the world. For SOCAPS it is also important that we are
compliant with the requirements and needs of our customers. This includes
completing prevention plans and ensuring that our FSE’s receive appropriate HS&S
training.”

SOCAPS GROUP S.A.R.L., directed by Thomas MEYER, is the company which regroups the
exclusive commercial offices of the SOCAPS S.A. cooperative. The offices are completly
independent of the cooperative and manage their own resources (traders and assistants, offices,
I.T.…) to complete the mission the cooperative entrusts them.
SOCAPS GROUP S.A.R.L. is structured into 9 regional offices (Rouen, Paris, Nantes, Grenoble,
Atlanta (US), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Johannesburg (South Africa), Cairo (Egypt) and Singapore). These
offices deal with SOCAPS’ commercial relations with their regional clients (market research,
communication, quotes, contracts…)
The regional offices also manage the assistance in the recruitment of the technicians, the
operational management of the projects (invoicing, planning, allocations…). They also ensure the
required logistical support (travel, insurance, visas…)
